Nothing but great words to say! The amazing customer service Nic, Trevor and Travis provided made it a relaxed stress-free environment. They treated us like family. They took great care of us! They have great selection and the prices are unbeatable. Definitely not those annoying sales guys! I highly recommend stopping by this dealership first!!! The Hatch's
ATT: A WARNING to car buyers I want to WARN others car BUYERS about what happened to my family, so that they don’t become financially duked and devastated like we did. I agreed to co-sign for a car for my son at “Larry H Miller Used” cars in Sandy. With 3 small children, one of which is disabled, and a wife to support my son needed a reliable car to get to his 2 jobs. I knew the finance lady at the dealership because she helped me buy my own car there. I considered her a trusted friend. My son had bad credit, and so she struggled to find a decent interest rate for him. We told her that he could only afford to pay a certain amount per month, or we’d have to go shop for a cheaper car. But she finally found a lender w/ a better interest rate. The day I came back in to co-sign for my son’s car loan she told us not to worry that all the numbers were the same that we’d previously agreed to, and she handed us a thick stack of contract papers to sign. Nothing looked different to my son and I as we scrolled through the enormous stack of papers we signed. But then my son got his first car payment, and he called me in a panic! Somehow, they put a 17% interest rate in place of the lower interest rate that we’d agreed to prior to signing, w/ a payment of $900 per month. I felt absolutely sick to my stomach and emotionally devastated that my friend at the dealership would do this to us! She knew our story and that my son’s family has struggled really hard during this recession! My son works 2 jobs just to pay his rent each month and put food on the table for his wife and young children. I knew this meant that my son was probably going to lose this car and possibly his jobs too if he no longer had a way to get to work! I called the finance manager there and they told me that they had to let the old finance lady go i.e. she no longer worked there. So, I explained everything that happened to us. The new lady was very cold and short w/ me and basically told me that it was perfectly legal what they did, that I should have read more carefully through the contract, because the 17% rate had to of been printed somewhere there. I told her that the dealership staff absolutely knew 100% that we couldn’t afford such a payment, and that they assured us all along that the numbers were exactly the same. I felt that the old finance lady was my friend and I trusted her with all of this. Plus, nothing looked different to us when we read through the loan contract. Then I asked her how it was just okay with Larry H Miller and their staff to hurt my family like this, knowing my son would probably lose his car in the end? I also said that maybe what they did was “legal” in their minds, but it was so very wrong on so many levels. And then I said that “this is going to hurt my son’s family for a very long time, and there’s no way you couldn’t have known how much this would shatter his young family, so please help me understand how this car dealership was just okay with doing this to them?” Consider this: The average person (let alone their co-signer) would have to be out of their right mind to buy the kind of car my son did for $900 per mo. A person could buy a very nice, decked out motorhome for that kind of money! WARNING: Don’t let what happened to us by this greedy car dealership happen to you. We are still sinking and drowning in all this, and this isn’t over for us yet! I have no clue what we are going to do, but if I can prevent Larry H Miller Used Cars from hurting another family out there, I will share my story to the ends of the earth to spare another the painful nightmare we are feeling! David did a good job in helping us. Would recommend him to buy or lease a car from him. Friendly.
Wynn K showed me a car and explained everything in detail. He was super friendly. He seemed super honest. Thx for a good experience!
Hector was very nice and very friendly. He took his time to help us out all the way.
Organized & helpful. Nonetheless the entire process seemed to take way too long. Fifteen words? Can’t do it!
