Do not do business at Jeff Perry. They treated us like garbage. Incompetent sales team and used car Manager Eric sold a car right out from under us. Even though we filled out paperwork, had down payment and financing arrived in person to deal the deal and were told they wouldn't sell us the car. A woman was on the way to look at it! They told us to come! We were there first and had everything in order! Never, ever has anything like this at a dealership to us before. They told us to come and they sold it to someone else who hadn't even seen it yet! So very incompetent and unprofessional. We are furious. Please don't do business with these awful people. They treated us like garbage when all we tried to do was conduct business with them in good faith.
Unfortunately, as a current owner of a 2006 Chrysler 330C I had a poor experience with a fuel tank replacement, safety recall which was issued by Chrysler Corporation. My husband and I chose to have the warranty work performed at our local Chrysler dealership, Jeff Perry Auto, Rochelle, IL. Before our vehicle went into Jeff Perry Auto's service department there was nothing wrong with the car. It is a very well maintained vehicle which had only 64,200 miles, the check engine light was not on. Shortly after the tank replacement was completed the check engine light came on. It was determined by a independent expert that each of the exhaust's flex pipes on our dual exhaust system had cracked in exactly the same spot on each pipe. It was also determined shortly after that both catalytic converters were damaged. After conversations with Mike Myers, General Manager; Jonny Myers, Service Manager; and Jeff Perry, Owner, they decided that their service department was in no way responsible and would not be held accountable to what happened while they had performed their first fuel tank replacement. Also, when I called to speak to Jeff Perry personally at the Rochelle dealership I was directed to his voicemail by his office staff so I could leave my contact information. The voice that came over Jeff Perry's voicemail welcoming me to leave a message was that of Dan Sawicki's, the past owner who had died 3 1/2 years ago and happened to have been my husband's best friend. It was very traumatic to me to hear the voice of Dan's instead of the new owner of over one year, Jeff Perry on his own voicemail. I feel it was very insensitive of Jeff Perry and his dealership to disrespect his family, friends and the community of Rochelle in this way. The whole experience at Jeff Perry Auto was a lengthy process with very disappointing results.
