I had an oil change & tire rotation done on August 25 2025 where thanks to Darren Van orden to make sure my needs were met while I was at the dealer. I could never thank Darren for all the help as a service advisor he has given me help over the many years I have bringing my Ford cars for service. It is because of people like Darren I will continue to come back to Cortese Ford for buying Ford cars & having service done on them.
It seems the “recall” appointment in which I scheduled weeks in advance was all a waste of time. After speaking with a few Service Dept Rep’s I was finally given the procedure of how my vehicle was going to be tested for the possible flaw. After coming in to pick up my vehicle (6 hrs later) and asking more questions, Cortese informed me that my vehicle didn’t need any testing done and the entire appointment and a 1/2 day of my time was a waste. I’m still confused that if my vehicle met the recall criteria, how did it all of the sudden not meet it? Wouldn’t my VIN # have all of this info? The Service Dept crew are nice people but no one seemed well versed on this recall. They had to bring a technician out to explain things to me. You would think they would minimally be able to explain the process in detail to a customer? I’m not sure who to be disappointed in; Cortese or Ford? I have yet another active recall now on the truck, once Ford works out the details hopefully I will not come in and get the runaround again. As much as I would like to get new truck, it would be hard to spend the $$ with all of the looming quality issues. I would gripe to Ford (not about the dealer, but about their product) but they make it near impossible to submit a complaint in writing and I highly doubt they would engage Sorry, not what you want to hear, but…… Oh, I was also sent a text early on, when I texted back to see if my vehicle would be ready at 2PM I never received a response I’m not sure Darren in the correct name of the Rep? Sept 19th Update Shortly after posting try original review I was contacted by the Service Manager Keith Osier. Keith discussed at length my recent visit and apologized for the communication issues on their end. Keith also explained that the recall that I was in for was new, and not everyone on their end was up to speed on it. Fair enough! Keith was honest, sincere and apologetic which went a long way with me. I have a follow up appointment next month, hopefully that will be a 5 star visit
I've patronized Cortese twice for purchasing new vehicles. The process was painless and friendly and will recommend this dealership to family and friends.
When U have your car serviced it is a long term investment that is a necessity these days . A special Thank U to Darren Vanorden, my service advisor for he is my to go to person for my car needs which has been many years in the making which is why I keep coming back. Even tho I had only an oil change with tire rotation, I know when I leave Cortese Ford my car will continue to give me reliable transportation until I have to go in the next time. I could never think of going anywhere else for I am very satisfied with the quality & service I have received for each Ford I have driven.
Great, Professional service staff. We’ve been bringing our vehicles here for over 25 years. Waiting room is comfortable. Work is reliable and prices are comparable to other service companies.
I was well taken care of ,I purchased a Ford edge and I love it. My sales guy Massimo Notarpasquale was really good to me ,he went above and behind to make sure I was happy. I would refer anyone to Cortese. Also the financial guy was great Darren. Made the process go so smoothly.
