Just bought a 2019 CR-V for our son Nathan was great and when we went back to get a few items taken care of Sean and Joey were wonderful too. They gave us a great loaner car for service and did a great job! I highly recommend Honda if Frontenac! Jerome Housewright
A transaction that should have taken an hour tops required more than three and a half. Note that this is after the test drive was complete and the price was negotiated. I have no idea why it took so long. We initially sat at the salesperson's desk for about 90 minutes. When we finally met with the financial "professional" she was thoroughly incapable of completing any part of the transaction on her own. So, every few minutes we had to wait for another employee to come in to process the transaction. Several days after we finally drove off the lot, we were told that the income verification documents that we provided were not sufficient. No explanation for why and very unusual given other purchases that I have made. So, I called the salesperson to inquire about why our documents were a problem. He did not return several calls. After another few days, when we called to check on the status of the paperwork, we were told that in fact the original documents were fine. It's been two weeks and we still have not received documentation required to get plates. AVOID!!!
Scammers. They did a yo-yo deal: they sold me a car, I had all the paperwork signed, and they cashed my deposit check. They lied to me for several days then refused to give me the car. They denied cashing my check and I had to hassle them to get my deposit back. They said the car was unsellable- I know this was a lie because I continue to get Carfax updates for this vehicle when it gets oil changes. Do NOT shop here.
If you get a good car it seems things might be okay but beware they do sell and cause problems and not back it. They left the drain plug loose on a new to us purchase straight from their lot. Oil light came on while driving home. After multiple visits with an (incompetent) service advisor, Shannon, who now appears to be there service manager they didn’t do much anything but add an engine additive and oil. I escalated to a Dan Schwartz who is still working there but did not return my recent call. In our prior interactions he acknowledged the issue and stated we can help by taking the car back if it comes to it. They wrote and I have a letter stating they documented the instance should further issues come up. See my pics. Well here we are now, this car has been burning oil since they sold it. This has now resulted in a burned valve. Through conversation with multiple reputable shops in the St. Louis area, I was told this can be due to the oil consumption creating deposits on the valve over time from blow by in the piston due to internal damage resulting in a bad seat and ultimately burning the valve. Since this occurred, they have changed their tone and now refuse any help or accountability. They have offered zero assistance with a 10k repair bill, trade in toward another vehicle, nothing at all except point fingers at anyone but themselves. They wouldn’t even look at the car for repair/service. Lastly, as expected their warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. I have recorded conversation with their administrator stating wear and tear items, although listed as covered are not. They use other sections of their service agreement to loophole and exclude them. See my google review for their letter and service record image. More importantly, avoid this place.
Deals on the website are false. The sales staff is rude and said “what is on the website does not matter.” Dealership is not clean (ketchup stains on the desk, ceiling is falling apart from water stain leaks). Limited vehicle inventory.
April in Sales and Ryan in Finance were wonderful to work with! Thanks you two!!
