My son just took his 2018 Accord in for state inspection. They wanted to charge him $1400 for recommended fluid changes and to replace a bad tie rod. We took the car to an independent mechanic and he said nothing was needed. My son bought this car new from Altoona Honda. I realize sales of new cars are way down but to try to make money like this is unethical. I understand the fluid change recommendations, but the tie rod was not needed. We will not be back.
