I just purchased a new 2026 Pilot and couldn't be more pleased with the experience! My salesperson (Pieter Janse-Vreeling) made it hands-down the easiest and best car purchase I've ever had. I really appreciated Pieter's friendly and competent approach. There was absolutely no pressure in terms of talking me into anything I wasn't interested in. It was also refreshing to buy from a dealership that doesn't pre-install add-ons that inflate the price. I was looking for a currently hard-to-find exterior/interior color combo, but Pieter searched far and wide, found it, and had it at the dealership within a few days. All this AND I know a got a great deal too! I hadn't been to Gurnee Honda before - but based on this transaction I'll be back!
Anthony was efficient and professional. The facility is clean and the waiting area has nice amenities.
Leesa, our salesperson was very good. She worked to get my wife into the exact CR-V she wanted. My only problem with the entire process had to do with our trade in. They stared at $2800 under Kelly Bluebook. I mentioned Carmax and they said they would redo it using Carmax. Why did I have to ask for that? That came back still well below the Kelly price but we took it. Then during the finance process the actual number used for the trade in was less than the Carmax price and I pointed it out. The finance guy went into an explanation that it had to do with taxes and we were getting the same trade value. It made no sense to either my wife or I. It was exactly the kind of double talk that frustrates me to no end at most car dealers. We used the Costco buying program but at the end of the day I’m not sure how much it actually saved us due to all the double talk. The finance process was very rushed and I felt kind of steamrolled. Bottom line is my wife loves the car and I’m glad we bought it.
Jerson Ocampo in my opinion is a top notch Salesperson. He took care of our wants and needs. I felt very comfortable with him and the staff we came in contact with. The whole place is number one in my book. I never felt this way at a car dealer thank you. He called that night to see how things went, that was Saturday night. On Monday he called again to see if there was anything more he could to. That’s the type of salesperson I enjoy working with. Thank you Jerson Ocampo I’ll recommend you to all my friends.
Joe worked with us through the whole process and was awesome! He kept on communication all day and answered every question we had, and even provided some details we didn’t know. When we arrived at the dealership to purchase he was very hands on and made sure the sale went very smoothly.
Scheduled maintenance appointment over the phone and was able to get in same day which was great. The new building is very convenient with Service entrance sign visible and drive up auto garage door opener very convenient. Service tech Shane got my information and was very cordial. Waiting room has plenty of chairs, complimentary coffee/water and bright. In/out was about 1 hour.
