I never write reviews, but did want to give this place the credit they deserve. I worked with Rock Hill Nissan to help my daughter buy her first car. I negotiate pretty hard and also am pretty strict about privacy and credit inquiries so have some tighter rules I operate by. This place was very respectful of that which I appreciate. We also had to redo some paperwork that was our fault and they worked with us being very courteous and patient throughout the process. Every person we talked to starting from sales, finance, back-end administration and through management was a class act. I’d buy another car from this place in a heartbeat.
I had the pleasure of working with Kristian. The best decision ever. He answered all questions regarding the process, he was patient and very diligent about his providing quality service. I waa referred to him by another customer and I must say , I am pleased with my purchase of my new car!
Purchased a used vehicle from Rock Hill Nissan on May 30th, 2025. Today is August 29th, 2025 and we still do NOT have a TITLE in hand. After the first month without the title, we went to the DMV to get a copy. DMV stated that their records had the title listed as "Engine Blown, Vehicle Returned to Dealership," stating it was not in our name. Dealership said this was "not their fault, but they'd fix it." It's been almost 90 days and I still have no title. Records sent to me from the owner show that the title was not processed until July 30th. That is 60 days post-sale. "South Carolina Code § 56-19-370 (state law) - licensed dealer who sells a motor vehicle must deliver a valid certificate of title to the buyer within 45 days of the sale." This same vehicle experienced major issues less than two weeks of owning it. Called dealership the moment the AC broke and the Sales Manager Jamin said "I'm so sorry! Bring it in tomorrow morning for a VIP appointment at 7am and we'll make this right." Apparently "make this right" means, "we actually won't call you for three days." After being reassured that they are inspected and have "the best warranty in the business," we learned that the air compressor EXPLODED and had metal shrapnel flying around the AC tubes and needs almost 4K in repairs. After I asked how how extensive of an inspection they do, the Service Manager told me "It would cost us too much money and take too long to do an inspection like that." If you're considering Rock Hill Nissan - DON'T. They fluff their reviews online to hide the bad ones. Check out recent google reviews, Yelp reviews, and PLEASE look at the BBB complaints. There are MANY!
I recommend Valerie Brown to be your sales person. She is best and friendly you can trust her.
Rock Hill Nissan is a joke!! Bought a vehicle from them it has been in the shop 5 times in 2 years with major issues. Now stranded in WV with my kids. Tried to contact dealership and got disconnected 6 times. Left message for dealership manager and hasn’t received a call back. Was transferred to multiple people and each time was disconnected. We bought the extended warranty and have had multiple issues with that. The warranty was suppose to cover the last problem but they said the labor was going to take longer than what the warranty would cover so we end up paying over $500 in labor cost. Caught a ride back to SC and planning on going to dealership tomorrow since no one will answer or give me a call back. Would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership and don’t get me started on the customer service of the service department and dealership!!! We have owned many vehicles and never had this many issues out of a dealership.
Very poor communication. Had to call dealership on multiple occasions to find out status of loan process. Salesman Tony L. Would not return my calls. The dealership has misleading advertising and will try and convince you they are going to make you a over the top . Was told on at least two occasions that Salesman Tony was off when he would call back a few hours later. Waited two days, then sales manager said he would work on the deal himself , never to call me back either. Very poor management and even worse communication skills. Would not recommend buying a mouse trap from this dealership. Total Smoke and Mirrors dealership. Stay away from this deceptive practices of this dealership.
