This was the worst service experience I have ever had in my life after 30 years of car ownership. Forget about someone answering the phone or returning your calls. I've been calling and texting 3 days. No response. Need to see if a repair is covered under warranty. We live over 40 mins away so getting a reply is necessary. Would not recommend this dealership for buying used vehicles. The salesman was dry and hardly spoke. He assured me they use a third party vendor for their pricing and their cost is below market value. However, once I got home and reviewed the price, I paid $3,000- $5,000 above market value. The financial rep was great and great to work with, but the sales experience was terrible. I cannot speak for Kia, but my experiences with used cars was all around a poor experience. I wouldn’t recommend. I’m currently reviewing their pricing sheet for a mistake. More
I received a Safety Recall Notice on my 2018 Kia and the letter said to contact an authorized dealer. So, I called Kings Kia and I was told that they would get back to me as soon as they checked their parts letter said to contact an authorized dealer. So, I called Kings Kia and I was told that they would get back to me as soon as they checked their parts department for the piece need. Here we are at 7 days and no follow up at all. Fortunately Wyler Kia/Eastgate was on their game. More
Had my daughter's car in twice for oil leaking into the engine. The first appt they said it was due to a recall and would fix it. Picked it up later that day and was told it was fixed. Two weeks later it was again leaking oil into the engine. Brought it back in and 2 days later they claimed they could not find the issue and were unable to repair it. My daughter was told that she could either add oil herself every couple weeks or they could run a diagnostic to see if they can find anything but it would cost her over $600 dollars. The service tech then proceeds to tell her "I wouldn't suggest doing the diagnostic because it probably will not tell us anything anyway and since its no longer under warranty that I suggest you just drive it until the engine blows and then it will it be covered". What???!!! Who the xxxx says that and actually thinks we will believe it? I guess because it was a female and they didn't think she would know any better. I then called the service department 10 times since that appt and have left 10 messages but still have not heard anything back from anyone!! Got tired of waiting to I took to another shop and they had the issues fixed in 1 day with no problem!!! This is the second time that we have had an issue with the car and both times it has been a nightmare getting anything done. The first time was thankfully just an issue with getting a broken door handle fixed, them ordering the wrong handle after FIRST looking at the car to make sure they ordered the correct part, 3 trips in to get it fixed when it was done incorrectly and the wrong part ordered. I thought we could give them another try with the leaking oil issue, but obviously that was more of a headache than the first time. Once they get your money on purchasing a car then from the point on they don't give a crap about any further help or customer service. Never, buying or dealing with this dealership or service department again and will NEVER buy another Kia after this. More
