I was sold a 60k mile warranty w this truck yet after 40,000 when it needed used they said the warranty was up, but still 20k left on the 60k warranty, get EVERYTHING in writing, loopholes are a salesman 40,000 when it needed used they said the warranty was up, but still 20k left on the 60k warranty, get EVERYTHING in writing, loopholes are a salesman best friend and the last thing they will take responsibility for once you have signed and commission is theirs. They had sold me another truck before this one and it started to have problems instantly with drivability and safety (bad tuning in the vehicle, worn front end, had four major codes within 3 days, but their same “trusted” mechanic put this on the lot as safe to sell 💭) After two weeks of having the truck, we finally worked it out to where we traded it in because they sold a complete unsafe truck for my family, yet they treated it as a new sale after I only had the truck for 14 days (4 of which is was the shop) and they had sold me a faulty truck they then acknowledged they sold the bad truck, yet treated it as a trade-in instead of honoring their bad deal, their was a large amount of cash put down yet they credited less than half to the new vehicle, blatantly stealing the remainder of the down payment “so their commission check was better”, Rob himself looked at the deals and admitted to myself directly, to the point he corrected the number that his sales people stole from the deal equaling a large amount of cash, the same employees are still working their, most likely taking money they have “hidden” from you as well 🤔 costing you more money at the end of the deal. I wondered while there I felt so pressured to buy another truck (simply because they wanted the commission) they would not let me take my buying elsewhere and forced me to buy from them or I was just stuck with the unsafe truck their mechanic said was not drivable. DONT be fooled by the soft-spoken radio commercials luring you in and promising to take care of any problems you have, they will initially be responsive, friendly, and kind, but once you will not do it the way they want they will sweep you under the rug. A little shopping around and other places have great sales on the same cars with a better customer service, a little research could really help save money in your pocket and less in the thieves. Rob will act as if he wants to do the right thing and try to smooth it over yet lie for months hoping you forget then will put it off on someone else like jake, jake will try to excuse every sales persons behavior, making any excuse or justification to set it aside, then even lowers like Corbin feel entitled to commission when they were not even part of the deal to begin with. …. I was never contacted by Rob, not once, it was pawned off on jake who then of course tried to justify and excuse the stealing from treasure valley Subaru employees, then also tried to lie about the warranty and the cash they hid. I keep hearing the radio commercials, trying to set a claim of doing people right, being loyal, fixing any issues, making sure you are completely satisfied and all those things, but they are proven false, Don’t be fooled by those,they are no different from any other salesman, they will lie and steal for self gain no matter what it may due to your contract or loan you are signing, as long as you sign they win. Treasure valley will steal all they can from you while rob supports it, don’t let rob rob you. ROBS response again is a lie they are all sales men, he himself admitted to what his employees stole and supported it. don’t be fooled or humiliated by these cons.
