I have nothing but great things to say about Drew Dussault and the folks at Brotherton Cadillac in Renton. We turned to Brotherton because we weren't happy with a different dealer we had been dealin Dussault and the folks at Brotherton Cadillac in Renton. We turned to Brotherton because we weren't happy with a different dealer we had been dealing with. After over a month of hassle at the other guys, we were happy owners of a new Lyriq within a few days working with Brotherton. Drew was very accommodating with his time, got us a great deal, and did all he they could to make sure we were satisfied. His communication was top notch, and the service team did a wonderful job getting the car looking amazing when we went to pick it up. The whole process was the smoothest I've ever had buying a car, so big props to Drew and the Brotherton crew. More

So I waited a bit to post this review to really think over my experience with Brothterton, I don't take negative reviews lightly as I have been on the other side a s a business owner. That being said I over my experience with Brothterton, I don't take negative reviews lightly as I have been on the other side a s a business owner. That being said I do feel my dealings with them do need be documented. In December 2023 I purchase a used 2015 Suburban from them. I contacted their sales dept. online and we negotiated the cost/financing prior to my arrival. Upon inspection of the SUV I noticed some things that needed repair and they covered a new rear wiper, auto open rear hatch fix as well as replacement of tires that had gouges in the side (2). I get into financing and going over the "we owe" items their finance person starts talking about warranty and maintenance contracts. He brings up that with the "we owe" items and the cost of repairs of these newer cars that a warranty etc. would be a good way to help offset those costs. He offers me a "bumper to bumper" warranty as well as a maintenance contract that I was told would cover the general maintenance items that are not covered by warranty (including tires) so with the combination of the two I would really drop my one off out of pocket costs to near nothing...... Fast forward to a couple months later and I start having issues with the car, I get it in to their service dept. with a non working A/C, trim panels that literally FELL off the car as well as worn front tires and in need of an alignment. My service advisor pulls up my paperwork and my "bumper to bumper" warranty really is ONLY a power train warranty that covers failure of the engine and transmission and that great maintenance contract I bought literally covers 4 oil changes a year and if I get a nail in my tire. The maintenance contract cost me 1800.00 Warranty I want to say is 3999.00 So I bring this to the dealerships GM attention and he gives me the option of cancelling the warranty OR for an extra 1500.00 (I believe) I can pay to have the warranty I thought I was getting in the first place, he made no mention of the maintenance contract I purchased and why I was told what I was told regarding that. I feel like I was steered wrong somewhat purposefully on both the maintenance contract as well as the warranty in order to get me to purchase them thinking either I would not use them or if I did they could upsell me to the level of coverage I thought I already had.......I find this to be a very deceptive business practice. If you are a former customer I would highly recommend if you did purchase any of there extended warranties or maintenance items that you look into exactly what you bought versus what you got... More
the lady gave me a number to call, instead of being up front to text, like I wanted. If you r selling a vehicle that's overpriced, you should be honest in the first place, it's from an auction. front to text, like I wanted. Five days later, A week ago, I paid my deposit at the Brotherton Cadillac NW. We were told to wait one day to make a decision on granting a loan. Five days later, no one called us. Today I arrived and they ask me whether it is appointed for me? Brotherton Cadillac NW used a $ 2,500 bond for a week and then asks if I have an appointment? This center employs staff who do not respect their customers. During our conversation, he grinned right in my face. Business Manager Johannes Kuiper did not apologize for not calling us for a week. This company used a fraudulent scheme in calculating the loan payment for a 2012 Mercedes-Benz. They offered us a loan of 40%, besides that the state tax was indicated instead of the legal 10.4%, they indicated 19%! What is it? Out of the blue they deceived the client. Kadilak Center could get more than $ 9000 interest from this deal !!! The price of a Mercedes is $ 15,000, after signing all the documents, the price doubled to $ 27,000 !!! This is called taking everything from the client and as much as possible. Don't ride that dishonest Brotherton Cadillac NW in the Aurora Ave N Shoreline. It's frustrating when a Cadillac manufacturer has such dishonest and arrogant salespeople as the Brotherton Cadillac NW in Shoreline. More
Brotherton Cadillac cheats Seniors and uses the guise of Covid-19 safety to do so. They secretly added extra charges such as a $500 theft detection sticker and multiple admin fees and licensing fees and th Covid-19 safety to do so. They secretly added extra charges such as a $500 theft detection sticker and multiple admin fees and licensing fees and then because we had signed digitally and there was a screen between us and the small laptop and because they quickly sealed up the paper copy it was not until we got home and opened up the paperwork that we discovered that they'd cheated us. So far their promises of returning our money have not been honored. Please don't be another victim of theirs. More
Cadillac Escalade Vandalized at this Dealership I wanted to buy a Cadillac Escalade from this dealer in October 2019 at the time, it was Doug's Cadillac, but the salesman was not very helpful. So, I I wanted to buy a Cadillac Escalade from this dealer in October 2019 at the time, it was Doug's Cadillac, but the salesman was not very helpful. So, I went and bought a 2015 Cadillac Escalade Premium with very low mileage in excellent condition, very nice, from another dealer. The same salesman from Brotherton Cadillac NW called me later wanted to find out if I got a car, and I told him yes. Not long later I got a card in the mail from this dealership to bring my car in for a brake vacuum recall. I brought it to them, 30 minutes later they told me the car was ready. Right after I drove home, which took me about 15 minutes, I noticed scratches on the bottom inside panel of the driver's door. I found scratches on the rear bumper, on the inside panel of the rear driver's side door, on the back of the center console, on both the inside panels of the right and left pillars, on the outside of the driver's door window. I found a major gouge and various scratches and dings on the inside panel of the rear door. I found several major scratches on the top rear of the vehicle. The evil person who did these damages make them look like wear and tear, but the problem is none of these damages existed at the time I dropped off the vehicle. I purchased it specifically because it was in excellent condition, and for the four months I own it, it had been in the same condition right up until after these guys worked on it. I went back the same day to report the issue to the general manager, but he didn't believe me. I reported it to the Police as vandalism a couple days later, but they told me they couldn't help because I waited, and that I should have done it the same day. Whatever their motive, it is wrong and unacceptable. These guys are giving a bad reputation to the Cadillac brand. I would not suggest anyone to take their car to them for service especially if you didn't buy from them. They are evil and not to be trusted at all. More
The perfect experience! I usually change cars every year and will travel for the best deal, which means I have had the opportunity to deal with many dealerships in different I usually change cars every year and will travel for the best deal, which means I have had the opportunity to deal with many dealerships in different states over the past 3 decades. If it's one thing I have learned to do, it is to separate the wheat from the chaff, and I can usually tell from first contact, which is which. Doug's Northwest Cadillac is all wheat! Buying a car long distance is always riskier than doing a local deal, where you can see the car in person before committing to the purchase. If the car is not as represented, you're out an airline ticket at the very least. Doug's listing had clear pictures of every exterior panel, and the interior, from multiple angles. This was a huge plus! When I called to see if the car was still available. I was immediately transferred to a sales associate, and he took a few minutes to verify that it was. I made an offer, which had to be cleared with the Sales Manager, and they made an acceptable counter offer. I arranged my own financing, and there was zero sales pressure to add on items such as an extended warranty, because I had already made it clear that I would not be owning the vehicle long term. On delivery day, I flew from Raleigh NC ,with an early arrival. My sales person, Mario, had arranged for me to be picked up, and the driver was there on time to whisk me to the dealership. After introductions were made, I was shown to the car and went for a brief test drive. The car was just as described, and the paperwork was soon completed. Due to the weather, I opted to ship the car instead of driving it back to NC. Doug's offered to store it safely indoors for two weeks at no charge, until the shipping company could collect it. This was one of my best vehicle purchase experiences, and I will rate the dealership as a 10 out of 10. It not not a rating I give lightly. I commend Doug's on their no nonsense approach to doing business. -Marlon More
Great Service Dept. I thought I had a real problem (long story) and called the service department. Although they were busy, the service dept squeezed me in the next day. I thought I had a real problem (long story) and called the service department. Although they were busy, the service dept squeezed me in the next day. They went all over my car trying to find a problem. There was none. It turned out to be my problem not the cars. So to punish me, they washed and vacuumed my car. More
