Drove 120 miles to simply see and agree to purchase. ..in cash or wire, no financing needed a 2021 used MINI. Entire paperwork and "deal" accomplished in about 50 minutes to one hour. Promised AND offered four new tires on car, that changed to two after about 2 hours. Then to none if I took the car immediately. Went to dealership on my own, so no possible way to take two cars home. Incredible HIGH pressure to quote" get the car off my lot by May 31 for OUR sales goals. This was a Saturday, and Sunday and Monday (holiday) they were closed. Myself and Sales Mgr. Justin even got into a bit of a heated conversation about even if the car was paid for 100% in full, the car "had to be physically off the lot or property" in 96 hours from their re-opening. I even asked if they could park it on the BMW lot...answer was no.... has to go period. Then promised by Dzianis and Justin at 1523 hours it would be about 30 minutes to see finance guy to simply put a deposit down, and leave in a few minutes. That ended up being almost four (4) hours later. At 1533 that was changed to another 40 minutes. At 1553 that changed to about an hour from then. I went to Melkey's Finance office right at 1750 hours. Almost 3 hours standing around to do about 10 signatures and a $1000 deposit. Oh, and the dealer trying to sell me all kinds of additional packages. Perhaps the REAL reason I couldn't just give a deposit and leave. Found the exact same year, model and car at Parkplace Mercedes in Dallas, TX the next day. discussed car for about 15 minutes on the phone, gave a $1000deposit by phone. Electronically signed all the papers in about 10 minutes online, completed entire deal in about 30-45 minutes DONE. Wired the funds next morning at 0930 in full. Far better experience and none of the 1970s hard sell. Will NOT ever use Crown MINI of Richmond for anything...and I own four (4) MINIs. Now, as of 6.4.24, still no refund of my deposit...called and no ability to do refund. literally everyone with any authority is quote "in a meeting". Who runs the xxxx stores if everyone that can accomplish anything is always in a meeting ??? Will call my Bank of America Card and DISPUTE the charge...as likely that is the only way I'll see my deposit back. Took my money in less than 30 seconds on a Saturday, I politely called the following Tuesday (they were closed that SUN and MON) to respectfully cancel the deal. I asked four (4) time for my refund...no answer and no refund. It's been eight (8) days and no calls, no emails, no texts, and no refund. Poor. poor dealership. More
I have been back several times to Crown Mini and have received the same warm friendly ( can I help with anything) attitude from EVERYONE that works there. Yes, MiNis are expensive, it’s a BMW, but, I get received the same warm friendly ( can I help with anything) attitude from EVERYONE that works there. Yes, MiNis are expensive, it’s a BMW, but, I get impeccable service with a warm genuine smile and they usually help me out with a small percentage off my price. As I’ve seen them too frequently and they felt I needed a little extra to help with cost..Anyway, I will not take my convertible anywhere else. They are now all my buddy’s, they take great care with my car and me. More

Low turnover of service staff means they know my car and my driving habits. They don't push unnecessary work. The work is always done well and quickly. I really appreciate the beauty-do afterwards.
