drove from Tinley Parker to see as advertised 2021 Volvo XC40, exterior color Brite Blue Metallic ( difficult color to find) Juan the sales man pulled the car up and its gray with a black top. I would not even had driven the hour and half for a gray and black one I sure I could have found that color combo closer to home so FALSE ADVERTISING GOT ME TO THE DEALERSHIP IN THE FIRST PLACE but my wife likes the color and takes it for a test ride she likes I try to negotiate something /anything off the price, but Juan would not budge at all the car was recent arrival and had no photos to verify the color on Emunds but key points were advertised mileage, sunroof etc. the key point that is most important to my wife was CARPLAY Wife is Geographically challenged and I was clear with Juan how important CarPlay was to the deal. I went to Bank to for certified Check to complete the deal upon my return I find Juan in his office with a new client I had to wait for the car to be cleaned and safety checked 2 plus hours and the cleaning left a lot to be desired I had to push employees to put plates on the vehicle and instruct him that yes I want a screw in every available hole to this point No-one had been able to demonstrate that the CarPlay was operational The consensus from all at the dealer was bad USB to lightning cord in my frustration I went to the General Manager and said I'm Leaning towards getting my check back and killing the deal he joined my wife in the Car and attempted to show her how to get the CarPlay running he was unsucessful A bad storm was coming, the dealership was closing and it almost 6 PM and I'm 2 hours from home they gave me 3 days to return the car it was Saturday I had till Monday to return the car but that's not really an option since they charge 10% restock fee ($3000) I figured id go to my Volvo dealer in Orland Park for diagnosis of CarPlay issue previous owner spilled in the console shorted out out the both usb ports Cost to repair $615 The car was advertised to have CarPlay I asked Juan and his GM to pay for the repair. I was told no and that I should read my contract the car was advertised to have CarPlay during the sales process the owner of Highland Park Genesis Mr. Gregory came in the Juans office to shake my hand and tell me how important customer service is at Highland Park Genesis. I recently purchased a new Genesis G80 Electrified and have been trying to resolve three significant issues with my vehicle. Despite multiple attempts to contact the dealership, I have not received a resp have been trying to resolve three significant issues with my vehicle. Despite multiple attempts to contact the dealership, I have not received a response. I have tried to contact the dealer more than five times over the past two weeks, including a detailed email sent to the General Manager, Sales Manager, and my salesperson. My last email, which outlined the specific problems, was sent on Thu 8/7/2025 1:00 PM and has gone unanswered. The issues with my new G80 Electrified are as follows: 1. Body Panel Damage: three significant scuff and paint scratch on the passenger rear side rear quarter panel (lower plastic panel below the chrome line). Text with pictures sent to Fernando DosAmantes on Friday August 1st at 3:39 PM 2. Steering Wheel Scuff Marks: noticeable scuff marks on the leather of the steering wheel at the 6 o'clock position. Unidentified Object Under Vehicle: cannot identify the object but it is hanging from bottom of vehicle at approximately halfway of front driver door. This poor level of communication and customer service is unacceptable for a luxury brand. I am hoping the dealership will address these problems promptly. I am a new Genesis owner, and I want to be a satisfied customer. I would appreciate it if the dealership would contact me to schedule a service appointment to resolve these issues. More

Joey and Staff could have not been more helpful. Ronnie the Sales asst. did a fabulous job delivering my wifes new 2026 GV70. I myself own the GV80 as well and have worked with the Service manager K Ronnie the Sales asst. did a fabulous job delivering my wifes new 2026 GV70. I myself own the GV80 as well and have worked with the Service manager Kevin previously. We received a great deal and very fair trade in on our 22 infinity QX60. Great Job Staff!
