I had a vehicle I wanted to sell; did not need two. I'm still dealing with COVID results, namely, I don't want to deal with other human beings very much. So I went to Kelly Blue Book and got an offer o I'm still dealing with COVID results, namely, I don't want to deal with other human beings very much. So I went to Kelly Blue Book and got an offer online. Two dealerships called. I chose Phil Long Ford because one of the calls came from Walter Banks. I checked out Mr. Banks on Yelp and other places--he got rave reviews for his behavior during sales. I chose him. The KBB offer was reasonable. I am old and cynical, so I sort of expected the dealership to try to lower the offer significantly. Mr. Banks did not do that. There was what I considered a couple of scratches on the rear bumper that did not show on the pictures I supplied to KBB. Mr. Banks said they would have to lower the KBB offer by about $400 to fix the bumper. I thought that was reasonable. We had a deal. Mr. Banks presents himself well--friendly, professional, helpful. I sold my vehicle, having to deal with only one human being, and he was excellent. More
