I chose Cable Dahmer because I bought my first car from Cable Dahmer Kia in Lawrence Ks. My recent experience was Atrocious. The Sales person we were set up with Paulo Pita is the most dishonest person Cable Dahmer Kia in Lawrence Ks. My recent experience was Atrocious. The Sales person we were set up with Paulo Pita is the most dishonest person i have ever done business with. He asked us our budget and what we were looking for. We said a reliable vehicle for a family of 3 under 20,000. The first vehicle he showed us was 21,000. I thought ok I get it he wants to get the most commission we can afford. My phone was dying but I had enough life in the battery to search your webpage for vehicles and asked to see the Jeep trail hawk listed for 17,600. When we test drove the car we loved it and immediately decided to purchase it. When we were done with the financing paperwork. He brought us the paperwork and my partner and I were questioning the numbers we were looking at. Putting 4000 down and traded in our used Prius for 500 the total was showing 20,000 after the money down. When we asked Paulo how a 17,600 car was going to cost 20,000 after trade in he replied. The cost was 17,600 if we qualified for all of the rebates and out trade in was a 2023 year model or newer plus taxes. We debated and bought the car anyway because i needed a vehicle as soon as possible. Paulo then said he was going to fill the tank and asked if we wanted anything from the gas station. We watched him get in the jeep and drive off. He was gone for over 30 minutes. When he returned we went to sign the documents. None of which outlined the total cost that we could read. When we left the dealership with the jeep the gas light came on as soon as I hit the highway. I barely made it to the gas station! Paulo had taken the vehicle for a joyride on his lunch break and didn’t bother putting gas in it. When i called Paulo to ask him why he lied he said “ gosh my assistant was supposed to fill the tank, you can fill it up and bring in a receipt and we will reimburse you”. After which I was infuriated, so I took a closer look at the finances. He marked the vehicle up to 24500$ which is 9400$ over maximum bluebook value, In total our 17,600$ vehicle cost us 26500$ with tax plus the terrible finance terms with Ally put us at a 40% interest rate. We received several denied loan requests from another lender days later showing much better rates but were not informed of these requests. No document we signed showed the total cost of the vehicle. Though our salesman knew we could not afford anything over 20000$ When we came in with the receipt for the gas we spoke with the finance guy who we signed papers with. He knew nothing about the gas reimbursement so he tracked down Paulo. Paulo took the receipt and said his assistant would give it to finance and they would mail us a check. Now I already know that is a lie because Paulo doesn’t have an assistant and finance already was bewildered by the concept. After my complaint and reviews went through a sales manager worked with me to set the vehicle price back down to its original listed price and we refinanced based on that amount. I’m now much happier with my purchase. Granted paying full price should not really require so much headache and worry. I wouldn’t recommend buying a vehicle here unless you have great credit and know exactly how much you should be paying. More

If you like no pressure in car buying, then this is your place. Yucento was fabulous and very knowledgeable. 10/10. The only down side I can think of, is they didn't have my brand new car detailed throughly place. Yucento was fabulous and very knowledgeable. 10/10. The only down side I can think of, is they didn't have my brand new car detailed throughly (someone had been driving it). There was sticky stuff in the cupholder and a sandwich wrapper in the console compartment. They did take it back into the shop and have someone remove the sticky substance, but it was not gone thru and thoroughly cleaned. More

We went there to look at a couple vehicles back on April 14th and test drive. We test drove a couple of them and they showed us a 2018 Traverse Premier that was black on black with the redline package and A 14th and test drive. We test drove a couple of them and they showed us a 2018 Traverse Premier that was black on black with the redline package and AWD and only had 66000 miles on it. We liked it and was going to go home and discuss it . Then the salesman said that for us to make sure it doesn't get sold to put a deposit on it and so we did. After talking with the salesman through text, I sent my information and they ran my credit and I was approved and we had made an appointment to come in that Saturday to go over all the paperwork and sign and also look for a 2nd vehicle. We planned on getting 2 vehicles. When Saturday came the salesman messaged me to make sure I was coming in and I said yes we were. After driving about a half hour to get there they told me they had sold it even with my deposit on it after being told days before that my deposit would keep it for us. I was told they made a mistake and wrote the wrong vin number down and then tried to keep selling us vehicles that were not the same or had way too many miles or wasn't AWD. They never made good and I'm sure their district manager never heard about it. No one could give me the actual truth of what happened. And now they haven't said called or texted about a vehicle in at least a month or so. And now there's a hard hit on my credit with nothing to show for and when I finally do find a vehicle my score will be less since it'll be on there still. Not to mention when they brought us back to discuss this about searching for another vehicle they came got us out of the showroom floor waiting area and took us down a hallway and left us there in front of an office which was supposedly the used car sales manager except the room looked trashed and there was no tags on the door or desk stating whose office it was. We felt we were treated badly and just shoved out of the way from other customers. More
