If you choose to business with LH, it is extremely important that you check up on all the service information of your purchase before leaving the lot If you choose to business with LH, it is extremely important that you check up on all the service information of your purchase before leaving the lot with your new car. Backstory: I bought a brand new 2022 Civic (15 miles on the odometer) and after driving for about 700 miles multiple warnings appeared and multiple transmission issues occurred (see attached images). Error codes were checked and had previously occurred (and been cleared) by LH at 9 miles, so they were aware of potential problems. Nonetheless they sold the vehicle anyways. The Honda warranty covered all repairs, and provided a rental. The repairs amounted to a partial transmission rebuild (new gaskets, solenoid, cylinder head). The repair process was lengthy and took around 2 weeks as well as legwork on my part. BEWARE, if buying a non warranty covered vehicle! Nonetheless, after lengthy communication with LH, they agreed to reimburse my expenses, and offered their full apologies. I definitely can say that they were professional throughout the entire ordeal. Ultimately, I think this could have been avoided entirely if LH had been upfront about the check engine light/issue occurring at the 9 mile odometer, but then again, I probably wouldn’t have bought their car, so take that as you will. I’ve changed my rating from 1 star to 3. Sometimes things happen that are outside of our control even on Hondas and LH did their best to make it right. More

Please save yourself painstaking trouble and avoid this dealer at all costs. Recently purchased a 2022 Honda Civic Hatchback Sport - it has maybe like 15 miles on the odometer. Fast forward a week or so an dealer at all costs. Recently purchased a 2022 Honda Civic Hatchback Sport - it has maybe like 15 miles on the odometer. Fast forward a week or so and multiple errors popped up while driving, the car put itself into safety mode and I was promoted to visit a dealer. So I did. The closest Honda had an incredibly difficult time uncovering what was ultimately a faulty gasket, cylinder head, and possibly malfunctioning transmission, none of which would typically occur on a brand new vehicle. They also so on the computer that the same DTC code I had after around 700 miles had previously occurred at 9 miles and been cleared away. The service rep called Honda and the rep said that the selling dealer (Lithia), had discovered the error codes, found metal in the oil, and had not conducted any repairs. So they sold a broken car and let me and my wife and newborn son drive off as if it were nothing. Now they refuse to replace the vehicle/refund even though the transmission is currently being rebuilt. The General Manager Travis Hawes communicated with me during all of these troubles and hid the fact that Lithia was aware of any issues until I prompted him with the service reports. I don’t even know where to start… I had a horrible week that ended me up at Les Schwab over thanksgiving with a visible screw in my tire. They took it out and sent me on my way, just to have me come right that ended me up at Les Schwab over thanksgiving with a visible screw in my tire. They took it out and sent me on my way, just to have me come right back with a low pressure signal a few days later. They then told me that I needed all new tires and quoted me an obscene amount. I was beyond frustrated and felt like I was being taken advantage of. I drove straight to Honda where I knew they would be honest with me. Turns out I had 2 screws AND a nail (LS didn’t see them?) and I don’t actually need new tires yet. I can’t even explain the relief I felt. My husband JUST started getting a steady income and we really can’t afford to buy new tires. I will ONLY go to Honda from now on! I can’t say thank you enough for taking care of me, you all are amazing. So kind and respectful, all while doing a great and through job. More

I trust the service team at Lithia Honda of Medford I purchased a Honda vehicle from a private party and wasn't sure about the vehicle's maintenance history. I immediately brought the unit into Lithia Honda to get service recommendations. The service department performed my list of maintenance items and offered a few recommendations. All the listed items were quickly completed and the vehicle was returned to me. I got my vehicle back way sooner than I expected and the cost was less than I had planned. More
