In my opinion, do not buy a USED CAR from Tom Wood Ford. They really mean AS IS! Drove the car 10 miles, resulting in over 7K of repair work. Tom Wood Ford has made no attempt to rectify this. I am writing to you to express disappointment in my recent service received on my newly purchased vehicle. At the time of my purchase I was advised by the executive sales and management team that m recent service received on my newly purchased vehicle. At the time of my purchase I was advised by the executive sales and management team that my vehicle was a Blue Gold Preferred car and that over 100 inspection points had been reviewed and analyzed on the car. It was in top condition and there were no issues. My salesperson, Cherie, was excellent and has been a great and kind resource to me. My sercixe advisor, Jamie, also gave excellent and courteous care. It is a shame these two ladies were caught in the middle of having to deliver poor communication from the executive sales/service management at TW Ford (96th st). I took my new car for an inspection after my purchase because when I drove on the highway the car would wobble when I would driver over 50mph. The private inspection revealed the following: The driver mirror was taped due to a broken piece The rear passenger wheel/rim bent The passenger side tires cupping The exhaust system bumps into the subframe I requested these issues to be addressed by Tom Wood Ford service department as I did not know or had not been made aware of these issues at time of purchase Unfortunately, TW Ford was unable to assist me with any repairs as I was advised by executive manager, Tyler, that I purchased my vehicle used and I failed to notify TW Ford of these concerns when signing my purchase agreement. Since Tyler, TW Ford Sales/Service Exec Manager never spoke with me about my concerns directly and basically shoved me off to a different location manager and then determined there was nothing that he could help me with regarding the repairs on my vehicle- I paid approximately $1400 for the repairs on my less than 30 days owned newly purchased car. My feelings are that TW Ford totally disregarded me as a person, and paying customer. I was given a cold shoulder and don’t care about your concerns treatment. In addition, I feel like I have made a serious error in choosing to purchase a vehicle with this dealership. I agree that I have no auto mechanical/engineering background or experience, however, my assumption is that if the dealership advised that a used vehicle has passed a thorough inspection ( Blue Gold Preferred) than my expectations for such issues would not be present in my newly purchased vehicle or the inspection would reveal these issues for resolution prior to my purchasing of the vehicle. I will not bring my vehicle back to this dealership for any service or maintenance. I will also share my experience with friends and family to strongly advise them to stay clear of this dealership for any future purchase consideration or service needs. Thank you for allowing me an opportunity to share my feelings and experience. More

Bought a 2017 expedition 8/18/21. I agreed to pay full price for the vehicle so long as a list of items were addressed: Detail, fix broken mirror/running board/seat trim, full undercoating, and ceramic co price for the vehicle so long as a list of items were addressed: Detail, fix broken mirror/running board/seat trim, full undercoating, and ceramic coating on the paint ($500 extra). For the undercoating, I discussed with the salesperson that I wanted the maximum protection for the car, with the entire frame protected inside/out, rockers, etc, however on paper it was just listed as undercoating. We were not in a hurry for the vehicle and told them to take as much time as they needed to complete everything right. On 8/20 we were told the car was ready. Upon pickup, the car was not undercoated at all, they forgot. The ceramic coating was applied over countless bug marks and the roof wasn't cleaned or coated at all, they said its about the protection plan and not about the coating itself, for which I could care less about a protection plan. Hands down terrible workmanship. They lost the second key and tried to say they gave it to me. Inside of the car was barely cleaned, sand and candy was in the carpet everywhere. The cup holders were now missing and I had to ask for them back. Salesperson went to the back and found them soaking in pure acetone in a failed attempt to remove the melted candy… Acetone melts many types of plastics and is a terrible chemical to uses on interior parts, nor does it dissolve candy. At this time they were closed and everyone just left us in the parking lot with all of these open issues. 8/23 salesperson refuse to honor the full undercoating even after acknowledging our verbal agreement, which, by definition, is rust proofing + undercoating for what we had discussed. I had to contact the manager, who then agreed over-the-phone to do rust-proofing/undercoating, finish the ceramic coating, re-detail, and cut a new key. They sent a driver to pickup 8/25 (we live 1.5 hr away). Received the car back 8/27 and just undercoating was applied to the underside of the floor pan and rear wheel wells, nothing else. The frame and all cavities were still fully exposed. Contacted the manager immediately and he couldn’t provide an answer until 8/30, at which time he is taking the standpoint that the undercoating is complete because that is what is on paper. Even after acknowledging that he to said they would do rust-proofing verbally, he now refuses to honor it. I have even contacted the GM, who also refuses to honor any details not explicitly spelled out in detail. All of this just to short me few hundred dollars on a $40K vehicle is absolutely ridiculous. I would not recommend Tom Wood Ford to anyone after these shady, dishonorable, and disrespectful dealings. More

When they started, they realized they weren't so minor....almost $800 worth so far with more to go. Independent mechanic says car should never have been on the lot and provided these photos. They were happy to take money, sell extended warranty (which won't cover any of the repairs)...but now they want nothing to do with it. I Am stuck with a loan and a pile of junk. BUYER BEWARE....STAY AWAY! More

Zero Stars Zero stars if I could. I bought a 2010 Audi A4 from Tom Wood Ford in September of 2018. I was coerced into buying a $1500 warranty on bald $700 tires. Zero stars if I could. I bought a 2010 Audi A4 from Tom Wood Ford in September of 2018. I was coerced into buying a $1500 warranty on bald $700 tires. I was lied to and deceived. I was told the warranty was not a warranty, but in fact, new tires and floor mats. On that basis I agreed to purchase the vehicle. 2 months later my mechanic discovered 6 broken control arms (from poor tires) and that my tires were “legally bald.” Before writing this I reached out to Mike Hume and Tom Wood Ford, where I was repeatedly sent to voicemail. I called and left voice messages only to have my call returned once. Eventually I ended on Tyler, the sales manager, who refused to help me in any fashion. My dad, his company, my mom, grandfather (who worked for Ford), and my company all have purchased vehicles from this dealership on a regular basis. I can assure them from the conversation I have had, that they will not receive business from my family or the company I work for. They did a good job of lying and cheating a 20 year old college kid to make a quick buck. It’s unfortunate it’s going to cost them a large buck in sales. I will be following up with Steve Berta (Investigations Team Leader with Indy Star). Save yourself some grief and do not purchase a car from this dealership. More
