Heritage diagnosed the problem and performed the repairs which corrected the issue. Most of the repair cost was covered through the extended warranty purchased when the vehicle was new. During the visit I also spoke extensively to the service manager. He provided some insight into the problem I was experiencing which I truly appreciated. All in all it was a great service experience. I’ve been a loyal Honda customer for 13 years — purchased three cars here and serviced my vehicles exclusively at this dealership. In all that time, I’ve never written a negative review for anyone or anythin three cars here and serviced my vehicles exclusively at this dealership. In all that time, I’ve never written a negative review for anyone or anything… until now. My recent $1,700 bill was a slap in the face. I was quoted one price, promised my car would be ready, and then told about “new issues” and higher costs. My time was disregarded, my trust taken for granted, and not even a gesture of appreciation or acknowledgment for over a decade of loyalty. It’s disappointing to see how far customer care has fallen. As Honda dealerships have leaned on technology to gain efficiency, they’ve lost the human side of service. It’s the seesaw principle — the more they automate, the less they seem to value their customers. An interesting dilemma, but a painful one to experience firsthand. After 13 years and three vehicles, this experience made me question everything I thought I knew about this dealership. Efficiency shouldn’t come at the expense of integrity and customer respect. More

The service department at Heritage Honda Parkville has been responsible, reliable, and relatable. I had the unfortunate chance of receiving a faulty oil filter during an oil change. Although the experience of receiving the oil change was great, roughly 4-5 days after my oil change, my car stopped on the side of the road. I had it towed to another car service shop to get a second opinion on the cause of my engine stopping. It was found that my engine was “dry”, meaning there was no oil left. Confused and frustrated since I recently received an oil change at Heritage Honda Parkville, I called the Heritage Honda Parkville service desk to discuss this situation. Mr. Steve Berman, the service director, had my car towed from the other car service shop to Heritage Honda Parkville to investigate the situation further. Mr. Berman was transparent, relatable to the customer (me), and had great communication. He kept me updated throughout the entire process. He advocated on my behalf to American Honda Corporation and took full responsibility for the faulty oil filter that caused my engine failure. The Heritage Honda Parkville team found a refurbished engine and replaced my engine with it. Also, during the long process, Heritage Honda Parkville provided me with a rental car for transportation. Since receiving my car back from Heritage Honda Parkville, it has been driving great! More

Again, I want to thank Steve for taking a moment out of his busy day to stop and assist me. I was having some issues with my keyless remotes and my vehicle would not detect them in nor outside of my car. I his busy day to stop and assist me. I don’t know why my main remote started to go crazy but for whatever reason it either corrupted internally or needed to be reprogrammed (combined services nearly $300). My additional remotes appeared to be unresponsive in spite of swapping them out with new batteries. Steve stepped in and he and his team put their hands on the issue and voilà It was quickly resolved. These guys saved me some time and some money today and for that I fully appreciate them. More
