I contacted several dealership in the process of leasing my Ridgeline Trailsport. Most dealerships took hours to respond. Roland responded within minutes. He was not only fast, but he disclosed all the info my Ridgeline Trailsport. Most dealerships took hours to respond. Roland responded within minutes. He was not only fast, but he disclosed all the information I requested (without asking me to come into the dealership to "discuss the details"), and he beat everyone's price with no haggling. Well let me tell you about my experience. I was with my 25 year old new graduate from ISU and looking for an affordable "Used" car for her. As we were walking into the dealership, outside sti I was with my 25 year old new graduate from ISU and looking for an affordable "Used" car for her. As we were walking into the dealership, outside still, Roland saw us and with a simple salutation greeted us, husband first "Plus." Just being another kind human being and recognizing us. He asked us if we were being helped, we weren't but we are now. I explained to him what our mission was and he started a search for a used car with our parameters. He found a few and it was what we were looking for and the price as well. Now you know, just what EVERYONE else knows, the typical stereotyped "Used Car Salesman." Well Roland was different. I'm a retired businessman and can see xxxxxxxx a mile away. Not Roland, nope, he was just another guy talking to me about getting a car, plus #2. This is where he streamlined into looking at a new car, I knew thus shut was coming and had my businessman guard way up when he was going to move into the, "I'm going to screw you mode." He didn't do it, he did, but nit in the vendor me over and here it comes way, plus #3. He was looking through his computer to see what comparable new car he had on the lot, he spun the Civic different models and features brochure around in front of me and I was perusing it as he was looking on his computer. I loved all the standard features I saw and told him, "I'd be on my office, get ne when you find one." I'm a smoker and went right out the door behind me. After a few minutes I was done smoking, went back in, Roland started showing me what he had, at my request and here's where he hooked me. Oh, don't misunderstand me, I knew it and knew where he was going with it, but he was in "Stealth Mode!" Plus #4! He through some numbers out, I through them back, we did our thing, ge did his thing, I was happy, ge was happy, my 25 year old daughter was clueless on what was going on and the next thing you know she was test driving her "Brand" spanking new car. We moved from the sales desk to his wrap the sale up desk, get the "Manager" crap, financial gue rue, blah, blah, blah........ We wrapped it up with Roland and now we're passed on to Ken, the "I'm going to screw you guy" but no, Roland gad already told him what extras I wanted and didn't want, plus #5. Ken respected our wishes, didn't push the "Stuff" down my throat, we agreed on a couple of other things, wrapped it up and my daughter drove out in what she was looking for and MORE, plus #6. And they all lived happily ever after and everyone git everything they each wanted. So you want to know how I rate Roland, there you have it in a nut shell. He was AWESOME and so was Ken. More
