What made it an excellent experience was that the sales staff was very patient and professional with no sales pressure whatsoever. The sales staff knew this very technical car extremely well and could answer any question we had. The dealership presents itself very well also with the use of a high tech process to sell cars, and using a "Volvo family" approach for those who purchase cars there. I look forward to having my new Volvo serviced at Volvo Winston Salem. More

Purchase I had the opportunity to work with the team at Volvo Winston- Salem last week and had a wonderful experience. It is apparent why they are #1 in customer service as I arrived at 7:45pm which was 15 minutes prior to closing. I was assured that someone would be with me shortly. Please note that my super salesman Kyle did a great job with sharing information about the vehicle and he was willing to stay late to take me on a test drive. I am pleased to say I became a member of the Volvo family and it was a team effort as I was in contact with several members of their team including the owners of the establishment. Since my purchase I've had follow up calls to ensure that i was satisfied with my purchase and to answer any question that i might have. It is without reservation that I recommend this dealership as they are great to work with, the finance department was impressive, and they have a product that is outstanding. Bad customer service after the fact My experience was with the GM Rob and GSM Les. A family member(64yr old recently widowed single female with no children) felt there recently brand new My experience was with the GM Rob and GSM Les. A family member(64yr old recently widowed single female with no children) felt there recently brand new Volvo was having mechanical issues and asked for it to be throughly inspected before picking it up. She was provided a rental car (complimentary thru new car warranty ) and the inspection was included in her new car warranty. When service brushed off her concerns and told her to come pick up the vehicle she insisted the vehicle be checked again b/c she didn't want to be broken down on the side the road again. The service advisor refused and she told them she wasn't going to bring the rental car back until they assured her nothing was wrong. She received a call from the GM Rob and explained all she wanted was her car checked(simple). It's covered free of charge thru Volvo new car warranty. Seeing this conversation was not going anywhere and threats of coming to get the rental car and charging her a lot fee for her vehicle being there my family member had enough and said she would call him back but couldn't talk any more. He was causing her to have a panic attack. This is where the situation became out of control. A successful younger Caucasian male felt insulted and bitter that a elderly woman hung up on her. So he instructed his employees to send a wrecker to pick up the rental from her house and charge her a fee for her vehicle being on there lot. 1200-1600 if I remember correctly and until she paid it refused to give her her paid off vehicle. With no vehicle to drive and having health concerns(doctor visits) she was left with little options. She reached out to me because I worked in a similar field to try to mediate this blown out of proportion matter. I reached out to Les first and asked for a civil resolve. My conversations with Les were civil but I wasn't getting anywhere. After a day of trying I reached out to Les to tell him we would be up there the next day to collect the car and finalize the fees to move on. This conversation was taking place by text and I assume another text was taking place with him and the owner Rob. I was accidentally included in on there text and got to read to vulgar and disrespectful comments Rob was making about my family member and how this was nothing but a I'll show you to hang up on me kind of thing. Angerly I called Les and let him know I was accidentally included in this conversation. He was very apologetic and asked me to give him a day or two but he would take care of the fees but please don't take the matter further. When I followed up with him he told me they wouldn't be doing anything about the matter then I received communication from the owner Rob stating if I proceeded with the matter who would come after me professionally with my job. This whole situation comes across as grown men acting as little boys and just out for money. No care for the customer that pays there bills and make them wealthier than the average person buying and servicing vehicles with them. It's a bad image for the car industry. Be careful as you or someone you care about could be the next ones to experience a similar experience of customer service. More

We didn't have any pressure. The owner introduced hI self and assured us of the great service and guarantee with the vehicle's purchase. Amazingly, when we had some minor problems with the used car, they came all the way to Virginia to pick up the car to make sure all parts were serviced. We have been more than amazed at the service of this company and there word of backing up the vehicle. I will definitely be buying all of our household vehicles there in the future. Simply unbelievably great service! More than anyone could expect in America anymore. More

Great Experience they remember the needs of their customers I had gone in to get a pre owned R Design which was initially a owner car and was not with the dealership. But later after a month the car was got into the dealership and they gave me the first opportunity to buy the car before putting it online for the rest of the market. That was pretty helpful and shows how concerned they are for customer satisfaction. The quality service and promptness in replies is very good. I was helped by William Robertson from sales department who was my point of contact during the entire process described above. He is not only technically skilled but also has lot of patience to be in touch and answer every question I had. I would definitely recommend the dealership if the choice of your new car is Volvo. More

I came from an hour away to visit Volvo Cars of Winston-Salem for the first time. Kyle took lots of time with me to help me find exactly what I wanted. He was very personable, and I felt like I made a new friend on top of finding the perfect car. Scott (aka Big Texas) was also quite helpful and fun. He helped me get to my target price without making me feel hassled, which was very important to me as a single woman buying a car by myself. James was professional and friendly, and he made the paperwork part of the purchase nice and smooth. All-in-all it was a good experience, and I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a car. :) More

He and Mark were very professional and most helpful. We called back with an offer and this team made it happen!
