Pierre Saliba and all the folks at Colonial made this car purchase a very pleasurable one...yes, really...I said buying a car...was a PLEASURABLE experience!...and stress free too, well except for maybe deal purchase a very pleasurable one...yes, really...I said buying a car...was a PLEASURABLE experience!...and stress free too, well except for maybe dealing with my own issues as a result of doing my own work related emails; using Colonial's free WiFi and sitting at Pierre's desk with my computer, all while the entire Colonial staff ran around doing their job flawlessly and quickly. AND...it gets even better... when I got home with my new Diesel Passat and started to digest the Colonial literature and think about all the services Pierre and the Colonial team told me about earlier, I only then realized the value of the free maintenance program and how extremely price competitive Colonial's service department is...I'm never going to have to step into an express lube or discount tire center ever again. I was interested in the Jetta Sportwagen but not sure if it would be large enough for my family and undecided on gasoline or diesel. Within minutes of walking in, Pierre discussed my needs with me and had it would be large enough for my family and undecided on gasoline or diesel. Within minutes of walking in, Pierre discussed my needs with me and had me inside the car to check on the interior dimensions. He explained the difference between the gas and diesel engines and transmissions in terms I could understand, then had me test drive both to see which I liked driving. He wasn't pushy, he didn't point out frivolous things like cupholders and he waited for me to ask questions about the little things. He didn't make me feel rushed during the test drive and let me go where I wanted. When I told him at the end of that first visit that I wasn't ready to buy, or even talk numbers, he didn't push me, he simply asked me when I'd like to come back to and made an appointment. And when that time came, the process of negotiating a deal with painless; we came to an agreement that fit my expectations and my budget. Pierre spent over an hour with me after we closed the deal, showing me how everything worked and helping me pair my phone and get the technical stuff squared away. I'm three weeks in with the new car and I love it; we took it to visit family over the holidays and had plenty of space for humans, canines and gifts, confirming our initial inspection of the car. And we got great gas mileage to boot! I told Pierre and Chris when I picked up the car that while I'd never had a "bad" experience buying a car, I'd never had a "great" one - until I went to Colonial. I'll happily return for future VW purchases and recommend them to anyone in the area. More
