I didn't feel that I was pushed to buy the vehicle and had an excellent experience. Much better than past dealerships I've been to. I definitely recommend Colonial VW. More

The service I received at this dealership was abysmal. I had reasonably high expectations given the high ratings I saw everywhere for Colonial of westborough. I arrived at my appointment time to meet wit I had reasonably high expectations given the high ratings I saw everywhere for Colonial of westborough. I arrived at my appointment time to meet with Pierre to test drive a Taos. From the very start of the interaction with him I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. He had no interest in providing a good experience, or in selling a vehicle to me at all. While I don’t like to jump to conclusions, it came off like Pierre felt as if I wasn’t a viable financial candidate to purchase a Volkswagen, and therefore was not worth his time or effort. Colonial also offered me an insulting amount for my trade in. A vehicle that only needed to be detailed, and then they would have listed it for approximately 8k more than what they would have paid for it (based on average listing prices in the area for similar make/model/mileage). There was no interest in even attempting to work a deal out until after I disclosed the amount of money I was able to put down. Additionally, after I had test drove the vehicle I was informed that the incoming Taos I had inquired about had already been sold, after I drove over an hour to this dealership. I did not purchase a vehicle from them, and I would not ever purchase one from them. I have no idea how Pierre has a 5 star salesperson rating, because I did not see a single ounce of professionalism from him and I was not impressed at all. The only reason this gets two stars and not one is because my initial contact with the internet rep was very pleasant. More
