I purchased my 2026 Ram 1500 on June 13th. I love my new truck, however on June 25th the engine started stalling when I put it in gear. I had to have it towed back to Perkins. I am told it nee I love my new truck, however on June 25th the engine started stalling when I put it in gear. I had to have it towed back to Perkins. I am told it needs the security gateway module replaced, but for some reason they are unable to get this part. I reached out to my sales person and he promptly called me back. He gave me the phone number of the Service Manager whom I have called and left 3 voice messages with. The Service Manager has completely ignored me. In my opinion, I shouldn't have to call the Service Manager... the Service Manager should be calling ME with an explanation and a solution to my problem. As it stands now, I have no answer from Perkins as to when or even IF this situation will ever be resolved. I understand there will sometimes be problem parts and lead times. What I don't understand is zero communication with the customer, or any timeline for a solution. This is my 3rd new RAM truck, and my first (and last) from Perkins. More
