Pressure to buy extended warranty was so bad I was moments away from walking out of the dealership. Also the salesperson told me tons of mechanics knew how to work on electric cars and they are easy t moments away from walking out of the dealership. Also the salesperson told me tons of mechanics knew how to work on electric cars and they are easy to fix, and then the finance guy told me EVs break all the time and need to be seen at the dealership so I’d better buy the extended warranty- for which he wanted to charge 40% of the price of the car. Outrageous. He also kept us hostage for 30 minutes plus explaining the options when I kept telling him we we were declining and had to leave to pick up our son. He didn’t care. More

A car purchase should not be dragged out across 3 visits—especially when it is an hour+ drive from my home. Also, the business manager did not apply for my financing using the terms that I had speci visits—especially when it is an hour+ drive from my home. Also, the business manager did not apply for my financing using the terms that I had specified (60 months vs. 48 months). This caused him to have to do a 2nd application on my behalf. And this had a negative impact on my credit rating. Also, I did not appreciate the high pressure sales tactics used to sell various warranties. I made it clear at the start that I wasn’t interested and had a limited amount of time to spend. Lastly, I was told that I could not have the car delivered to me because it was a used car, not new. I was still spending over $20k so that didn’t feel right. So I will now need to pay for an Uber to pick up the car. Overall, this was not a great experience. More
