Service department is rude and overcharges. $190 to diagnose each problem and $190 an hour. Could not repair our van and lied to another dealer who is working with the break down we had out of $190 to diagnose each problem and $190 an hour. Could not repair our van and lied to another dealer who is working with the break down we had out of state. Told them we were told not to travel with it, when they actually told us it would be fine. That lie will make a warranty claim extremely hard for the dealer working to repair it. We are livid. More

SHADY SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND POOR MANAGEMENT HERE! Caution when taking your Nissan in for service here. I literally took my Nissan Maxima in for a coolant flush and had it previously inspected for my Caution when taking your Nissan in for service here. I literally took my Nissan Maxima in for a coolant flush and had it previously inspected for my job 4 days prior at another dealer in Pueblo, Co (Dave Solon Nissan). The Pueblo dealer found no issues with the power steering pump or lower control arm and said I just needed the coolant replaced along with some other minor maintenance. My power steering was FINE when dropping it off and my car was operating normally. After South Colorado Springs Nissan inspected my vehicle they quoted me for over $4,000.00 in repairs that miraculously were now a problem (4 days after the other dealer did their inspection). I had repair insurance through Protect My Car and they were VERY suspicious of this dealership and all their new problems they claimed were now wrong with my vehicle. They mandated that an inspector of their own come out and verify the issues before agreeing to authorize payment. So $1,300 dollars later ( I agreed to replacing the lower control arm and coolant flush) I get my car back and start driving it to now experience it to be a hazard to operate! I had to park it at the Colorado Springs Airport because the steering was so messed up and I could hardly turn the wheel. Hmm....the steering was fine when I dropped it off and now it's not...? They wanted $1,000.00 to fix the steering pump and claimed that there were preexisting leaks that is causing the steering problems. It's like my car was tampered with (intentionally or negligently) because it was driving smooth until they got their hands on it. I emailed managers here about the issue (Michael Brown of the service department and the general manager Jason Oringer). They sent me pictures (as proof/evidence of the issue) and used wording like "when WE inspected your vehicle" (like somehow they were present at the time in the garage instead of in their offices) it was preexisting. "Sorry but we cannot correct the problems and fix them or reimburse you for emergency rentals....we can offer you a discount but you have to pay for the steering issue." Frankly, I don't trust this dealer at all anymore....My car is running horribly/dangerously now and I spent $1,300.00 after all was said and done. I've never spent so much money and had my vehicle serviced at a dealer where now it runs worse than how I dropped it off and is in fact dangerous to drive now. I'm not going to take it back in so they can screw it up even more and have me pay for their poor service. I was so horribly disappointed in my experience with SCS Nissan that I will NEVER buy a Nissan again and if I do buy a Japanese make it will be with their competitors (Honda or Toyota). I've had Nissans since 2007 and I'm done with this company. More

Therefore, a car is essential to my continuing education. Unfortunately, my car broke down. It would not accelerate or move forward or backward. In trust and faith, I took my 2011 Nissan Sentra to the South Colorado Springs Nissan Dealership for a full and complete diagnosis on February 1, 2020. After performing the diagnosis, Nissan said the car had a blown fuse and it would only cost $2.50. They were wrong. A week later, Nissan said it was the transmission control module and it would cost 922.32 (for the TCM, fuse, and diagnosis). I asked Nissan if it was the catalytic converter, and they said NO. I asked Nissan if it was the electrical system or the wiring and they said NO. I asked Nissan if the TCM would solve the problem, and they said YES. So, in good faith, I paid them 922.32 and drove my car away. 300 miles later, and 4 days later, while traveling to Denver, my car would not accelerate up Monument Hill. In disbelief, I took my car back to South Colorado Springs Nissan Dealership. This time, Nissan said that my wires had melted and that I needed a new wiring harness in addition to a complete replacement of my exhaust and muffler system and a new catalytic converter (after telling me only 4 days ago that it was not my catalytic converter or the wiring harness and that for 922.32 I would have a totally repaired car). Nissan refused to own their mistake and misdiagnosis. It was their fault and they refused to repair the car for free. Instead, they sent us a new estimate that totaled $2500.00 in repairs. Then, they performed another diagnostic and said the muffler and exhaust system did not need to be replaced and that it was not causing the wires to melt and that it was the catalytic converter. They sent a new estimate of $1232.01. Nissan misdiagnosed my car 4 times and would not take responsibility for their mistake. They would not make it right. They finally told me they would do the repairs for 1000.00, but that I had to prepay. And, they gave me a rental car and told me that I could use the rental car, free of charge, until my car was repaired. The general manager and the service manager both told me this and put it in writing, then reneged on their promise and agreement and started charging me $35.00 a day for the rental car. Now, 36 days later, on March 7, 2020, I had to give the rental car back and I had to pay a tow truck to tow my car off of their lot because they refused to make this right, took 36 days to do a diagnosis, would not repair the car for free or even offer a discount, and reneged on every promise they made. I am taking my car to a reputable mechanic and I strongly advise taking your car to the South Colorado Springs Nissan Dealership. They are not ethical, they are not honest, they do not have integrity, they do not honor promises or agreements, they are not transparent. They bullied me, and were very rude to me. They misdiagnosed my car 4 times, and kept my car for 36 days and did not repair my car. I asked them for a refund of 922.32, since I did not get a working car for that amount that they promised to give me, and THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND. Do not take your car to this dealership and do not do business with this dealership. They do not abide by God’s principles for conducting a business and their customer service skills are very, very poor. They also bullied me and told me that if I left any negative reviews, they would not let me have the rental car while my car was being repaired. Their prices were not consistent and the numbers did not add up. From day to day, the estimates, the prices, and the work that needed to be done changed. They treated my car and me like we were less then. Each time my car did not work and was not fixed after they supposedly fixed it, they added hundreds more dollars of things wrong with the car and repair work. Finally, they demanded that we prepay for all repairs and only gave us a day to prepay. And, I truly believe in my heart of hearts that they did work that was not necessary and charged us for it too. Well, Nissan, you can have back your rental car and I will take my car to someone who is competent and trustworthy and honest and transparent, which I have already found a wonderful mechanic to do the job, and I will leave any negative review that I want. By the way, the car is in worse shape than when I first brought it to them. When I brought it back to them after it would not accelerate up Monument Hill, and after they had replaced the TCM and fuse and said the car was repaired, but it was not repaired, the car would not accelerate, but it went forward and backward. Now it will not even go forward or backward. Sounds like they may have broken the TCM and fuse intentionally or removed the TCM and put back in the old one. If you did this Nissan, the new mechanic will discover it and then I will call the police and my lawyer because that would be illegal to charge us 922.32 for a TCM and then not get a new TCM. Because that car was going forward and backward and moving when we brought it back to you the second time after you replaced the TCM, it just was not accelerating over Monument Hill. Do not go to South Colorado Springs Nissan Dealership, unless you want to spend hundreds of dollars and still not have a working car. More

You could tell that he is eager to s Springs Nissan dealership, Mr Mike Brown, is phenomenal. His customer service skill is exceeding my expectation. You could tell that he is eager to serve its dealership’s customers by all mean. As soon as we finished discussing our technical issue with a service advisor about my brand new vehicle, Mr Brown walked out of his office and took charge of the situation right away. He literally went and grabbed a special device elsewhere and quickly asked to look into the vehicle problem right away. In fact, He was the one who found out what the issue was and drove the vehicle straight to the service facility and had a tech traced furthermore to finally conclude that four out of eight injectors need to be replaced. Since the vehicle is brand new and is under manufacturer warranty, parts were ordered and replaced in two days. Without Mr Brown’s enthusiasm, the process and procedure could be much longer and dissatisfied for sure. Because of all great personalities and positivities contributed to this matter, we will definitely return not just for vehicle services but several new vehicles will be purchased in decades to come. I personally will start spreading all great words about this dealership at least to local community in the city and county. They deserve our supports and they deserve to earn our businesses. Again, thank you, Mr Brown, very much for taking a great care of us. Alan. More
