My experience in purchasing my new 2014 KIA Optima was a pleasurable one. The staff at DeLand Kia is friendly, courteous and helpful! I recently bought a 2005 dakota Truck from DeLand Kia. Matt was my salesperson. I called Matt that morning to inquire about the truck after seeing it on the Kia website. I told him I would be up later to Matt was my salesperson. I called Matt that morning to inquire about the truck after seeing it on the Kia website. I told him I would be up later to look at the truck. When i arrived, Matt had already had the truck brought up to the front of the dealership and it was unlocked and ready for me to look at it. They made me a quality offer for my trades and included a brand new set of tires for my truck. I returned the following Monday for my tires. Was in and out of service quickly. I noticed a vibration with the truck after the new tires and called Matt. He immediately went to see Darrell in service who called me right away. They brought me right back in and had their tech ride with me. He noticed immediately the problem, did a rebalance of all the tires and now the truck rides great. Throughout all of this process Matt followed up to make sure that I was satisfied with everything. It is great to do business with an honest person that does what he says he will do. I'll be doing business with Matt again. More

We were driving by and decided to stop and see the Kia Soul and see if it would work for us. We got to looking and measuring it (we have a trailer we would haul it in) and found out it would fit. The room inside was unbelievable and we loved the way it drove. Our sales rep Matt Rettinger was very helpful in explaining the features of the Soul. Then we sat down to decussing trade in values...we were happy with the final price and drove it out of the dealership. After over 300 miles we are very happy with the car. We would recommend this dealer to friends, as it was recommended to us. More

Today we bought our first new car --an OPTIMA KIA. We have always bought used cars and had some bad luck with the last one. It was time to buy a new one that would give us the peace of mind of a warrant have always bought used cars and had some bad luck with the last one. It was time to buy a new one that would give us the peace of mind of a warranty from a reliable dealership. I dreaded the process… even though I have never bought a new car, I have seen plenty of car salesman “action” because my dad was a car salesman for many years. I was so impressed with Matthew Rettinger, the most pleasant car sales man I have ever met! He did not speak too loud, too fast nor too much. He was straight forward yet did not ask too many personal questions. He simply listened well and found exactly what we were looking for … for the payments we wanted. When we went for a test drive… he kept quiet and let me experience the ride … I really appreciated it that… I was expecting a pushy salesman that would clutter my decision making with too much talking. I also really liked that he didn’t talk about himself. So many salesman fill the awkward silent moments with unnecessary gabbing. Once we made the decision… he took us to the finance building and then while we waited… we talked about personal stuff in a relaxed atmosphere… it occurred to me that only after we had developed some rapport did the personal conversation feel safe. Finally, after we shook hands with the finance manager, Matt took the time to “pair” my phone with the Bluetooth in the car… I then begin asking him questions about the basic “bells and whistles”… even though really not necessary for my husband, Matt explained every single icon and button in the dashboard of the car. He taught me some very basic things without treating me like an idiot. Overall, Matt is a real guy, he is approachable, he LISTENS, he is knowledgeable about his cars, he talks well of his company and coworkers.
