Undoubtedly my best automotive purchasing experience ever! If I tell you that I opted to drive 5 hours to work with this dealership, will that tell you how great they are? There are three Volkswagen dealership If I tell you that I opted to drive 5 hours to work with this dealership, will that tell you how great they are? There are three Volkswagen dealerships within an hour of my home and all of them acted like they just didn't want my business; they played the stereotypical pricing games that give car dealerships a bad name. Not so with Royal Automotive! I found the exact car that I wanted online. I called Royal and explained that I wanted to have the best deal that they could give me and I wanted to make sure that there were no pricing surprises since I would have to drive so far to see them. Not only did they play no games, but they also beat the best price that I had been given by my local dealerships by over $2000. My salesman, Adam Hickman, Jr., was a delight to work with and made the process seamless! After my initial phone call, we handled the painless negotiations via SMS and email. The only hiccup in the whole process was that the car wasn't ready when I arrived, and that was only because I arrived early to pick it up. If I hadn't been so eager, I may have spent less than 20 minutes in the dealership. Matt Morgan handled the paperwork and financing, and it went so quickly. We could have gotten it done more quickly, but we talked about a lot of different things; he was just so friendly. Buying this Volkswagen Tiguan was the best car buying experience that I've ever had! Adam and Matt were delightful to work with and really made this process enjoyable. Can you imagine that? An "enjoyable" car purchase? I will absolutely work this Royal again. More

Knowledgeable, professional and friendly! We live 2 hours away from Royal in Vestavia Hills but saw a Volvo XC60 on their website that met all of our criteria. We emailed the dealership with a few questions and Allen Cook sent us back a prompt reply. It was a Saturday afternoon that we decided to take the long drive up to go and see the vehicle. Unfortunately, it was already 4:30 in the afternoon by the time we arrived at the dealership but Allen was more than happy to let us go for a test drive, answer questions and he took the time to show and explain all of the vehicle's many safety and convenience features. It was obvious that Allen knows the cars that he sells very well. After Allen and Sales Manager John McDaniel worked to give us a price that we were satisfied with we decided to make the purchase and were sent to finish up the paperwork with Matt Morgan. All 3 staff members that we dealt with at Royal were great guys and we really appreciate that they stayed past their 6:00 p.m. Saturday closing time to help us drive away from the dealership in our new Volvo. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND! Also, this dealership has a showroom and sales staff dedicated just to the Volvo line. Another dealership that we visited had all of the different vehicle lines that they sell all together in one showroom, which we didn't really care for. We feel that because this dealership seems to have a staff and showroom dedicated specifically to each individual vehicle line that they sell, it makes for a more knowledgeable staff and car buying experience. More

Great Customer Service for Out-of-Town Purchase Matt and the team at Royal were absolutely great to work with. I found the specific SUV I was looking for online one morning this summer (2016 Chevy Matt and the team at Royal were absolutely great to work with. I found the specific SUV I was looking for online one morning this summer (2016 Chevy Tahoe). I sent an e-mail to Royal letting them know that I was interested in the car. Within an hour, Matt called me (before the dealership even opened that day) to talk to me about the vehicle. By the early afternoon, we finalized the terms of the purchase, including the financing - all of which was done over the phone and e-mail. Since I was an out-of-town customer, I left that afternoon to test drive and purchase the vehicle. When I arrived (30 minutes before closing) Matt and Micah were there to answer any questions I had about the vehicle and the financing. The car was inspected, cleaned, and ready to go when I arrived. It was as advertised and really exceeded my expectations in terms of its condition. I was off the dealership and heading back home within 90 minutes. Following the purchase, Matt continued to follow up with me when I had questions about the car and my out-of-state title / registering process. In all, this was a great car buying experience, and I would definitely recommend Royal to others. More

I still dont like no Haggle thing, but I guess all our looking and comparing was the haggle. We believe we got good deal. Dealer fee was good $199, most are alot higher and they want come off dealer fee anymore at most. Overall a good experience and hassle free. Thanks again Chris and Angie Palmer More
