When it comes to service this is not the place you want. The lack of courtesy, decency, and plain common integrity just doesn't exist here. The old saying is fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, well it's my fault for trusting and giving others the benefit of the doubt. This company sold me a "Company used car, with low very low miles >15k. I requested new tires before driving off, they gave me a set of 4 faulty defective tires. Needless to say, 8k miles later, I had another tire shop review a completely flat tire on my run flats, and was told they were all nearly defective. I told the salesman, Justin, who suggested to have my car towed there, but only to then be told, that the tire shop caused all of the defects and that none of it was their responsibility. The only solution was that I can buy 4 more new tires or just 1 as the other tires are visibly damaged. Wow, what great service to tell someone who just purchased, a 50k car from your dealership! I would say this company, these service guys, and in general does not know the meaning of true customer servicing. They only care when you're buying from them, not after you have purchased. Don't go here for service, and especially to purchase because when you really need their help, they will leave you hanging every time. According to Dusty, he discussed this issue with his manager as well. That should say a whole lot in itself. More

BUYER BEWARE. Do not buy from this dealer if you want service after the sale. You go to service appt and advisors sit behind windowed offices and ignore you standing there for 15min. But the biggest is their unethical practices. I’m a repeat BMW owner and they’ve told me I need new rear inner break pads within 20K miles twice now and REFUSED to look at my past BMW break replacement records to prove this is NOT normal for me (my driving). First set they said “soft break pads” caused premature wear. Now it’s my “driving style.” Never looking to see WHY this is happening to a car under full warranty. They treated me (a woman) like I was an idiot. I left in tears (never let them see you cry) and the service mgr couldn’t be bothered to leave his office when I demanded the corporate number (which he gave to my advisor without questioning if there was a problem with a customer requesting it). GO TO ERHART IN FARMINGTON (they’re looking into fixing this issue of possible calipers sticking). Or go to BMW OF TOLEDO (best car prices), or BMW of OKEMOS. They’ll come get your car and leave a loaner for service. JUST DO NOT GO TO BMW OF A2. THEY ARE CROOKS. More

I wish there was a negative number for me to assign to him. My 2022 BMW was towed to this dealership. We called them many times, BMW of America contacted Mark Wade via email. He never responded to tell me what is wrong with my car or when it will be ready. We are the ones who had to call many times for one of them to call us back and of course it was never Mark. I talked to one of the emplyees there and I was told, Mark will call me back with some answers, of course he didn't. I have never had such a bad experice with a Service Department . Try your best to avoid them. I know I will. More

BMW Ann Arbor service has repeatedly treated me without respect. I was expecting much higher level of professionalism from a BMW dealer. I would never consider purchasing a car from this location because o respect. I was expecting much higher level of professionalism from a BMW dealer. I would never consider purchasing a car from this location because of the service I have received. I will take my future service and sales business to another dealership. Here are the details of my experiences at BMW A2: a. They started by asking me if this was my first luxury vehicle when I took it for service. I am not sure why this was relevant, but it was insulting. This speaks volumes about their leadership. PS, no it wasn’t. I can say that I received 5 Star service from the Porsche dealership in Ann Arbor every time. b. They didn’t check for recalls when I took my car in for scheduled service. I was told all was well and I was good to go when they finished. I found out (by accident) after the fact, that there indeed was a SAFETY recall for my car, and they did NOT take care of. When I asked why it wasn’t done, I was told that it was my fault for staying during my very long service (even though I had an appointment) and that caused them not to even check for recalls. I was also told it wasn’t a very important one, just a computer recall. Did I mention that BMW called it a SAFTEY recall. UPDATE: I was eventually apologized to and told that it was not my fault that they should have done it. Yes, I already knew that. c. During the same service visit, they removed my license plate cover, my “Personal Property” from my car and threw it away. Then they put one of theirs on my car WITHOUT asking my permission. I really liked mine and would not have approved it. I didn’t notice it for a few days. Since my plate cover was gone, they did replace it with one from their showroom. I did also get an apology for this as well. This was not a liberty that should have been taken. The service and parts manager were email copied on all of the details in the above 3 experiences by email, no manager ever reached out to me. The parts manager was copied on it because the service manager was out. The service manager returned the following week. But I never heard from him or any manager at BMW. d. My most current visit (and my last) was for a bulge on my tire wall. When I took the car in, I was told that they needed to order one, and that they even talked to someone that said, “yes the had one” and it would be there in 3-5 days. When I left that day, he said that he hadn’t ordered it yet, but would order it as soon as I left. When I called 5 days later, I was told that the person that was taking care of it has been off all week and no one else was handling it. I was also told “yes the tire was there” and I could bring it in. Half an hour later I received a text that they didn’t have the tire and now there is a “nationwide shortage” so they can’t find one. Even though, a week ago they could get one. By the end of the day, the national shortage was over, because they could again get me a tire. But now there another delay because they need to come the next day to take a picture of my tire because the tire dealer won’t release the tire or provide shipping information. I had to call to find out if the tire was in. I was told yes, but I would need to wait for same person that was off all week to schedule a time for me to come in. After hours of waiting to be contacted, I called the scheduler, she was very helpful and got me scheduled right away. My service manager never called or texted me after the day 2 weeks prior and with repeated requests to talk with him. More

I had the worst experience with this dealership. waited 5 minutes before someone came. the service advisor (I didn't ask his name, but he later gave me his manager's card Mark Wade) asked $160 for oil change minutes before someone came. the service advisor (I didn't ask his name, but he later gave me his manager's card Mark Wade) asked $160 for oil change while there was an online special for $100. when I took out the print out, he accused me for playing him for not bringing this out in the first place. The advisor asked $300 for the brake fluid, $300 for the coolant, $160 for check up. I later did brake fluid in another BMW dealer for much lower price and they didn't ask me for the coolant and check-up. I never realize a dealership can be so bad. Even Honda offers much better service than this "luxury" branch dealership. Fortunately not all BMW dealership is as bad as this one. More

This dealership is a wonderful group of true auto enthusiasts - many build custom cars on the side and/or race their cars (BMW and non-BMW). This includes the sales people, the mechanics and the serv enthusiasts - many build custom cars on the side and/or race their cars (BMW and non-BMW). This includes the sales people, the mechanics and the service advisors. Recently my 2017 330i came off lease and I decided to buy it; they offered far better financing terms than what I could have found on my own or expected. I am stunned to see some of the bad reviews on this DealerRater site; it is not at all in line with their Google and Facebook reviews. I am sure that if you come in with enthusiasm that you will be treated in kind and in a friendly yet professional way. More

The Worst Service Experience I dropped my vehicle for service, supposed to get 15% off on $1500 services, but instead they did another service ( Wheel Alignment) without even my a I dropped my vehicle for service, supposed to get 15% off on $1500 services, but instead they did another service ( Wheel Alignment) without even my approval. Guess what during this service they damaged my steer wheel and door handle. I care my car, know everything. This is purely Ann Arbor BMW negligence and damaged my vehicle. No positive response to my questions and they say it pretty common for this kind of vehicle. I can’t trust them anymore and don’t take any chances.
