Service department needs to communicate better with customers Scheduled appointment was at 8:20am dropped off at 8:00am for Oil change and electrical issues 8:30 was contacted to authorize diagnos customers Scheduled appointment was at 8:20am dropped off at 8:00am for Oil change and electrical issues 8:30 was contacted to authorize diagnosis of electrical issues which I did No contact from service, I called at noon and was told truck was not yet brought in ( diagnosed at 8:30am !) still no call from service, I called again at 1:30pm and was told just working on issues and would get a call no later than 5::00 pm . I called AGAIN at 5:45pm ( because NO CALL from service as promised) was told they THINK it needs to have a new video screen installed even though they couldn’t diagnose the problem, Because or after market lights they couldn’t find the problem and said headlights needed to be replaced with original ones but THEY WERE NOT AVAILABLE so there was nothing they could do, also said oil cooler lines were leaking and needed to be replaced Total cost of these repairs was more than $4,200 Said unable to pay that amount on my limited income and to put it back together Was told to wait until 9:30 am the next morning to pick it up. NO CALL AGAIN that it was ready so I called them at 10:30 am and was told to it could be picked up When paying for oil change and diagnosis no explanation of lack of contact or issues Will probably not return to Executive Chevrolet for further service More
