A breath of Sunshine! After contacting and researching with the three Nissan dealerships on Oahu, and especially with a particularly bad personal contact with the sales sta After contacting and researching with the three Nissan dealerships on Oahu, and especially with a particularly bad personal contact with the sales staff of the town dealership, I find dealing with Sunshine and Lauren of King Windward Nissan to be a ray of light in the twilight we call car buying. Sunshine has patiently kept me informed, answered all my questions (silly, serious and everything in between) and did not panic when I hinted I might secure a truck through another dealership. She has also graciously taken some of my suggestions I've given her under consideration as well. She's very easy to get along with, with a bubbly personality that instantly grows on you. While I met Lauren towards the end of my vehicle purchasing experience, I found her to be as equally friendly as Sunshine. She too, answered my questions patiently. And like Sunshine, is willing to extend that extra effort for her customers, to the point where she was willing to take over for Sunshine to oversee the delivery of my truck to the dealership on Sunshine's day off to make sure everything was okay and ready for pick up by me. Unfortunately, due to events beyond Lauren's control, it didn't quite work out that way, but it shows the level of commitment Sunshine and Lauren have. Though it did leave Sunshine the chance for her to take funny pictures of me and my new truck! The ladies are also telling me to contact them afterwards if I have problems or to help arrange for appointments for oil changes, safety checks, etc. Which is another reason I went towards this dealership--I wanted follow up beyond the initial sale and a couple of oil changes. Here, you get free oil changes, safety checks, and car washes for as long as you own the vehicle. Free key replacement for 5 years. And besides the town dealership, this dealership is the easiest one for me to reach (can you imagine trying to reach the Waipahu one during rush hour? Or if there's an accident? Forget about it!). So see Sunshine. Like her name says, she'll brighten up your day. More
