took my vehicle in for service at Zeigler Infiniti of Orland Park for an oil change and to address some rattling noise on the driver’s side in the rear. At approximately 9:25 am, Robert Garcia, Lead Shop Foreman, approached me and said, “I have some bad news. The noise that you are hearing is coming from your undercarriage, which is completely rusted out in the rear and in some areas in the front. To repair your vehicle would start at $3,000 and could go up to $7,000 depending on what was found during dissembling. Since your car is a 2011 with 210,000 miles on it, it would not be worth the repair. I can’t even weld anything together due to the severeness of the rust and it’s just a matter of time before things start falling off of the vehicle.” He then sent pictures and a video to my email.
I began servicing my vehicle with Zeigler Infiniti of Orland Park on February 24, 2017. My last service date was on December 10, 2025. During this time frame, my vehicle has been serviced numerous times, and it has never been brought to my attention regarding the rusting away of my undercarriage. Isn’t that the purpose of regular maintenance? The rust did not appear overnight; it has been a gradual process that should have been noticed by the technicians to avoid the situation that I now face. THIS IS NEGLIGENCE!!!

After speaking with Austin Polycn on 03/16/2026, at 1:05 pm, he stated that they are not willing to make repairs on my vehicle or substitute it out. However, I could come in and purchase another vehicle.
It's sad that a dealership of this magnitude is not willing to take ownership of their negligence. They have been servicing my vehicle since February 24, 2017 (59 visits), and no one noticed that my rear sub frame was rotting out!!! AGAIN, THIS IS NEGLIGENCE AND THEY SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE!!!
