Lack of communication and follow up - Not Customer Friendly I am very disappointed with my first (and only) experience with Suburban Chrysler/Jeep of Farmington Hills. I recently found the pre-owned Jeep Wrang I am very disappointed with my first (and only) experience with Suburban Chrysler/Jeep of Farmington Hills. I recently found the pre-owned Jeep Wrangler AEV that I had been looking for. After working with the finance team, pre-owned cars and pre-owned manager I had secured the vehicle that I had planned to buy. I offered a down payment to secure this vehicle, but was told it was not necessary. Knowing I was going to be out of town for business they simply sold the vehicle for actually more than a $1,000 less than for what I had agreed to pay. I was shocked that eve after an offer of a down payment they sold it. I understand the auto business and have purchased many vehicles (actually 4 from Suburban Collection). I expected some professional courtesy. I actually sent the Dealership GM - Bob MacKenzie a thank you note for his teams willingness to work with me on this sale and the help they had provided. I sent copies of this note to the finance manager, used cars manager, and sales person. NOT ONE thank you or call that I had received. I was shocked even after the loss of the vehicle I had selected and went through the finance process they never proactively called me nor did they work with me to find another vehicle. They NEVER called to look for additional options. Ironically I went to Suburban Collection TROY and purchased a new car without any hassle. Amazing they sales team was oblivious as to how to work with a customer to find an alternative vehicle and let a customer walk away. Still no word from Bob today, amazing! More
