I wanted to share my recent car buying experience for anyone else who might be in the market. I’m based in Orlando and was specifically looking for an EV. Unfortunately, none of my local dealerships had anyone else who might be in the market. I’m based in Orlando and was specifically looking for an EV. Unfortunately, none of my local dealerships had one available, so I started searching online and found one down in Lake Wales. I drove over an hour to Lake Wales, but that trip turned out to be a total waste of time. The dealership there played all the classic games—hours of back-and-forth, pushing over-inflated numbers for financing, and even arguing with me about EV tax credits (despite what their own website said!). It was frustrating and left me feeling like they just didn’t want to make a deal. On my long drive back, I started calling around and found another EV in Tampa. This dealership was about an hour and twenty minutes away, but it was so worth it. From the start, the salesperson made the process incredibly easy. We mostly communicated by text, with a few quick phone calls. They were transparent, answered all my questions, and gave me a fair offer right out of the gate—no endless haggling or “let me talk to my manager” nonsense. When I went to finalize everything in person, they had already prepped most of the paperwork, so I didn’t waste hours at the dealership. Even the finance office was low-pressure. They reviewed the maintenance packages and extras, but I didn’t feel like I was being bombarded with upsells like you’d find at a timeshare presentation. I buy a new car every 2–3 years because I lease, so I’m very familiar with this process. Honestly, the worst part is usually the endless haggling and time wasted. But this dealership truly made it easy, straightforward, and stress-free. I appreciated their honesty and how they respected my time. If you’re shopping around and hate the games and back-and-forth as much as I do, I definitely recommend giving this dealership a try. More

Ferman Chevy of Brandon is great place. My salesman John took the time to show me everything about my new truck. Dominic is a great fiance guy. Both were very personable and professional. Dealer was not forthcoming about lease end options and I felt compelled to take an option that cost me significantly more money. Sales person (John) was very helpful and knowledgeable.
