We had such high hopes for City Limits Subaru but today we found they are not what we hoped. We met with Joe Morales about a used 2017 outback. Joe and his manager came up with a price which included our trade in of a 2014 Outback. We went home and applied for financing with NFCU and was approved. I contacted Joe via text Friday evening (03/08 at 8:56PM)and let him know we had the financing and would touch base in the morning. Saturday morning (03/09 9:00 AM) I sent Joe over our approved financing which included the price and the vin of the car. Joe talked with his GSM and she said for us to come in today and pick up the car.(9:03 AM) We set up a time to come in at 1:00 PM, then a little later Joe texts and says someone else is coming in to look at the same car.(9:07 AM) Ok, well we have financing in place for that car and will pick it up today. Joe said he would let us know if they are going to buy it….what? I offered Joe my credit card to take a deposit but no response. We drove to the dealership and Joe told us it had in fact been sold to the people that came to look at it. I don’t feel that the salesman stood up for us . He knew we had the financing and his GSM told us to come pick it up. We had to cancel the loans with NFCU and our credit score dropped almost 50 points due to having a new loan which we now don’t have! This is unacceptable and unprofessional. More
