I typically have pleasant experiences at this Honda Center, however this time was unacceptable. I was charged an extra fee for $10. When I asked him what the unexpected charge was for, he mentioned Center, however this time was unacceptable. I was charged an extra fee for $10. When I asked him what the unexpected charge was for, he mentioned "for extra rags". How did I use $10.00 in rags for one visit especially when that fee has not been previously been applied to my order before? Also the service advisor said that the oil change does not come with a multi point inspection. He was lying. The coupons itself state that it comes with a multi point inspection and I've been coming to this dealership for years. I asked him to still perform the multi-point inspection because that is why I choose this dealership consistently to monitor my car. It's simply because He just didn't want to do it because he believed there was no money in it for him because he did not believe I would pay for services. Once I asked him to do the multi-point inspection, he did not perform it even though he stated he would. The center just marked off everything as green because he did not believe that it would be worth his time. However, he does not know that I'm actually in the market for buying a car. But because of the only bad service experience (I have ever received from this Honda Dealership) I do feel certain that I will not buy a car from this Honda anymore even though I was considering it. To add, I would prefer to go out of my way to buy a Honda from another dealership just because if I can't trust that I'm having honest conversations over a 70-dollar oil change, do you believe it would be worth investing in an over $30000 CRV from your lot? No, it does not make sense. However, I must be honest and say that there was one advisor who was at the dealership who went and spread a different type of light. I believe his name was Joe, even though I am not sure, but he recently had surgery for throat cancer and that day he was declared cancer-free. I was sitting alone and he still made eye contact across the lobby and came and made sure that I was okay and taken care of. I had a great conversation with him the man was very joyful and pleasant even considering the health experiences that he had just gone through. He was not my advisor, but his customer service and personality actually did brighten my day. I wish that I had a representative like him take care of me so I could continue patronizing your dealership with trust. I encourage your dealership to make other representatives follow his standard. Brought my new Civic (10 months old, 12k miles) in for two safety recalls (emissions software update and power steering). I really want to hate this dealership because the finance guys are the worst, but two safety recalls (emissions software update and power steering). I really want to hate this dealership because the finance guys are the worst, but if I'm honest this service visit was great. When I set the appointment they told me it could be up to five hours, so I brought my laptop so I could work while I waited. I guess it was slower than they anticipated because I was out of there in an hour--90 minutes tops. Angel Flores checked me in right away and kept me posted with texts and in-person visits to the waiting room throughout. Yes, they did a multi-point inspection and Angel tried to sell me maintenance I didn't need, but I only had to decline once and he dropped it. That's all I've ever wanted! I get these people have a job to do, and I don't mind them doing it--as long as they take "no" for an answer. Same with Joe Hoch. He wandered by and introduced himself and tried to sell me parts or upgrades or something. I declined and he politely left me his card and went on his way. Five stars! A few months ago I got an email from my original salesman, Erik Chipman, with a birthday voucher for a free specialty coffee from their bistro. This was my first time back since receiving it but they redeemed it without question. Sweet! Five stars for Erik for his contribution to my pleasant morning in absentia. On my way out Angel offered me a free cookie. Even though I had not spent a dime at the dealership that day. Such a nice touch. I do think it's a little annoying that this dealership bombards me with requests for reviews after every interaction. But I get that it's a competitive business. And believe me, it's a two way street. I'm ready to uncork a one-star on these guys the moment they give me an excuse. But today was not that day. More

Overall, my experience was very good and I was pleased with the time it took to complete the purchase. My only unhappiness was with the end of the purchase cycle - the visit to the finance office. I def with the time it took to complete the purchase. My only unhappiness was with the end of the purchase cycle - the visit to the finance office. I definitely would give Yvette 5 stars - she was very nice and did everything she was suppose (required) to do. During my years of purchasing cars, I have had very few good visits to the finance department. Why can a dealership offer a Finance Department Express option to the buyer? If a buyer does not want to be offered, or even hear about all of the optional add-ons, that should be respected by the dealership. I understand that these options are highly profitable for the dealership and I certainly want the dealership to make a good profit. But why must a buyer be held hostage while all of these pages of options are presented? The buyer should be able to avoid this presentation and the finance person should not be required to present these extras. There is NO reason the finance portion of the purchase should, upon request by the buyer, take longer than 5 minutes. More
