I really wanted to rate this dealership higher as the salesman Jimmy was very pleasant and easy to work with, as were the others that I met and talked to. But unfortunately the stigma associated with car salesman Jimmy was very pleasant and easy to work with, as were the others that I met and talked to. But unfortunately the stigma associated with car sales held true here also. I drove 8 hours to buy a car there, so I imagine that, and figuring a repeat customer likely wasn't the case here, wasn't much incentive to be honest with me. To be fair, the cost of the car was not overpriced, but of coarse management found a way to dishonestly put more money in their pocket. They charged me for an anti theft system that was not even installed on my car, not that i wanted it anyway. But to tack on a 2500 dollar charge for something that didn't exist, was in my opinion unethical, dishonest, and borderline theft. I wont pin this on the salesman, its not his policy, but to the sales manager, whom I'm sure sleeps just fine at night, though I don't know how. I don't begrudge anybody from making a buck for a service rendered, but to basically find a way to pencil whip more money out of a customer on top of the profit from the sale, is downright dishonest. Granted I could of went home without the car, but that doesn't make dishonest tactics ok to do. Anti theft device, maybe the sales manager needs one in his pocket. More
