Don't buy a car here, really just save yourself the headache. Everyone's super friendly until you sign, they they no longer care and love giving you the run around. So I purchased a 2014 explorer from them, and man do I regret ever going in. They also sold me a extended warranty on a vehicle that never went thru recon department repairs. I purchased Saturday and messaged him (BOBBY) Monday about some leaks that it had, I sent he pictures on Tuesday and said theirs nothing they can do about it, because I purchased a Ford. The front side turbo is leaking and had been leaking for some time as it had caked up grease, the transmission and transfer case is also leaking and has caked up grease. The valve cover on the front side of the engine is also leaking and I will upload pictures of it. When I got it home I noticed the brakes were very squeaky, when I was able to look at the noise myslef I noticed that they had did a pad slap on it, thats something that a buy here pay here does to cut cost, not a big dealer like acura. The inner rotors have a big lip on them and pleanty of rust. They Should have been resurfaced or replaced. Not just slap a new pad and sell it. Once I spoke to (Jessica) who apparently is a customer service representative aka the managers assistant as she told me, I was asked to come In and take it, but she said if it's not a safety issue that nothing could be done. But she continued to ask me to bring it in, so I did. When i got there I was welcomed in by a service adviser named (Ceasar), not once did this guy ever look at my face , he just clicked on his phone and was on the computer. He seemed very confused as to why I was even in the service department and told me to contact sales, its not on them. He gave me a copy of the recon inspection which showed everything that they found and needed to be done and the cost $2300.00. I then contacted my salesman (Bobby) and told him that nothing in that inspection had been done, just the brake pads. It said the filter had also been replaced and what it cost but it has a k&n filter and it's filthy by the way. I then proceeded to tell him that I want to take them the car back as I financed it, so now I'm stuck with paying for the vehicle and paying for the repair. That is absolutely not ok. I told him I feel like I got robbed. He then said he would have a manager contact me which they have not (Jarrod or Jin) have not contacted me at all. So please people check the vehicles ask for a recon inspection and make sure it actually made it through the reconditioning department, ask if they can lift it In the air , a oil leak and transmission leak and crappy brakes is a safety concern. Have a real tech look at it. And about purchasing extended warranty, they will NOT fix a preexisting leak. They will tell you to contact the dealer and we'll good luck because here I am. Still waiting for a phone call Acura of Peoria!! I need this resolved and there has been ZERO effort . Recon is the reconditioning department that looks at the vehicle to see if a vehicle is worth reselling or it goes to wholesale. If its worth reselling than they fix any issues and put it on the lot. Make sure and ask for that inspection! More

Upon leaving we noticed a very minor spot on the car that seamed out of place and they immediately said it would be fixed and offered some additional insentives just for the trouble of it not being perfect at that moment.
