DO NOT BUY A CORVETTE AT SEGUIN CHEVROLET I’ve bought over a dozen high-end cars from Ferrari and Porsche and multiple Corvettes from Seguin Chevrolet. Samantha was always great to work with — professional and honest. Unfortunately, things went downhill when General Manager Jeremy Sims took over my recent Corvette ZR1 order. After a year of working on my ZR1 build, Jeremy placed my order in the GM system, and it was officially accepted (Status 3000). Then, after the fact, he tried to add a massive ADM markup, knowing I was financially capable and committed to the build. That’s textbook bait-and-switch and violates GM policy. Worse, he changed my Museum Delivery option (RBC) back to Seguin Chevrolet without my consent so he could resell my ordered ZR1 to another buyer at a higher price. Completely unethical. There’s a reason GM gives few allocations to small dealers like Seguin — they don’t know how to handle high-end transactions with integrity. Jeremy Sims was deceptive and dishonest, and Seguin Chevrolet has lost my business and referrals for good. GM corporate is aware, and I hope they take action to protect the Corvette brand. More
