I was looking for a compact SUV for about a week. I have done quite a bit of research on the internet and visited a few dealership. I was not looking at the Volkswagen Tiguan and happened to pass by it and decided to check it out since they are offering a very good deal - 24K miles/2 year manufacturer warranty with 1.99% APR. I met Jeff Schull who introduced me to a low mileage 2015 Tiguan. I took a photo of the Info sheet and Vin Number to do research. I did all my research about the Tiguan, read the Carfax of the specific Tiguan posted by the dealership and also check out the dealership. After all my research (done in a night) I decided to visit and check out the dealership the next day and to test drive and purchase the Tiguan. Jeff introduced me to Leo, his sales manager, and we quickly agreed on a price for the Tiguan, with a small discount. After that Jeff handled the paperwork quickly, helped me get my car insured. The whole buying process was smooth and there was no attempt to get me to buy unnecessary services or products that I do not need. Leo even gave me a free "Emergency bag" as a free gift. Thank you Jeff and Leo for a pleasant buying experience. My first Volkswagen!! More

I lived in Florida for 20 years, and was used to sneaky salesmen who tried to quickly get you into mediocre cars, so by nature, I do a lot of research and spend extra money on things like Carfax to avoid having to ask questions. Wife and I were trading in our 2013 VW CC, we wanted something newer to accommodate for our weekend getaway trips, and to also (maybe) facilitate a carseat someday. I used to go to a VW dealership in New Jersey when we first moved to the NY/NJ area a few years ago, but I decided to give Bayside a try, since it's just closer to where we live. First - I really appreciate the effort that Bayside makes in ensuring that all of their staff are on their website. That gave me peace of mind, and that went a step further when we went into the showroom. The dealership was conveniently located near the Bayside LIRR, which was very helpful. The front desk connected us with Jeff, who we were warmly greeted by. He was very friendly and it was totally different from the dealerships we were used to in the south. We were seated, offered coffee and started a conversation. We were initially thinking about the new Tiguan, but after conversation, Jeff helped us narrow down the decision to what we really wanted in a car, so we ended up getting the Passat with Technology package, which is great. I felt like I didn't have to negotiate the price much, and it ended up being a little under what I had expected to pay that day for the lease. All the terms were explained to us, we were assured that if we needed anything, we can always reach out, and most, if not everyone there has been there for at least a decade, so it's a good feeling. One of the the VW dealerships that I went to in 2015 in Jersey actually closed down, so it was nice to know that Bayside has been there forever. If you are in the market for a VW, check out their showroom, go for a test drive and let one of these guys help you out. You won't be disappointed, you won't be pushed, and you'll leave happy. More

I did my research well in advance, and I knew the exact vehicle I wanted and I was more than familiar with prices because I had been following them for awhile. It's hard to find used Golfs, especially ones actually certified by Volkswagen. I was lucky enough to get one just off a lease, and I snapped it up immediately. There were other cars available, but none of them were certified, or they were overpriced, or it was some crazy unrealistic deal from some sleezy place where you have to wonder what they're hiding. After I found this car, I got a prompt reply from Sally Morello, and we went in and dealt with Jeffrey Schull. He expedited everything for us very well. Everyone at Bayside Volkswagen was extremely polite and professional, including Leo Ohayon, who was in charge of the certified vehicles. The entire process was pretty stress free. Jeff expedited everything for us from beginning to end. I read other reviews where people seemed angry that they couldn't get a better deal, but we honestly got an awesome deal. These other people didn't do their research. If a dealer is selling a quality certified vehicle with a clean car fax they are not going to let that car go for less than its market value, especially if that car is in demand. All those "great deals" you see online are for cars with questionable history, and you're taking a gamble on huge repairs later on. Time will tell, but so far I'm thrilled. I feel really good about what I got. More

Plus I got lucky by having a family member owning a Volkswagen so I received the $1500.00 off bonus! They had two versions of the exact car I wanted and color, which was a Jetta 1.8T TSI 5-speed.
