No sale, but GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE & EFFORT Let me start off by saying...I ended up not buying from them and went with another. Not because of her lack of great service..but because the numbers weren't working in my favor. Briana, thanks for doing EVERYTHING you could for me. Her and her team did a GREAT job trying to accommodate me and what I wanted. And like I said, at the end of the day, if it doesn't work out in your budget, it won't work. Briana kept in touch with me via text the whole time and I would like to thank you for your time. Although I ended up walking away (not because of you), I STILL feel that I NEEDED to right a GREAT review for you because of your GREAT customer service. Thanks Briana! More

Easy purchase Not a new Subaru owner. By far, this was the easiest most pleasant experience I have had buying a new car. I am a fan of the Subaru Outback and was Not a new Subaru owner. By far, this was the easiest most pleasant experience I have had buying a new car. I am a fan of the Subaru Outback and was pretty certain of my purchase going in to Grand Subaru. Working with Jeff was lucky for me. My usual purchase is a good solid reliable vehicle. Jeff found that and more....A practical vehicle that makes me smile! Al handled the finance piece. He was delightful and moved the process along quickly and painlessly! More

Everything was done to make us happy! My wife had very specific ideas of what she wanted and our local dealer in Elgin had their own ideas. Grand Subaru did everything to make her happy instead of trying to close a sale. So that closed the sale! They gave her what she wanted and even a fantastic deal out of the box without arguing about price. We will never buy a Subaru from anybody else. We will send everyone we know to Grand! More

Excellent experience Forced by an accident to buy a new car, we narrowed quickly to Toyota or Subaru. Visited dealers for each and felt comfortable from the get-go with Jeff Schade at Grand. Went back and forth between Legacy and Impreza before opting for Impreza simply because we prefer a smaller car. Jeff was patient through our multiple visits and back-and-forth. Seemed confident in his product and let it sell itself -- answered our many questions patiently and with no pressure tactics. Toyota dealer, on the other hand, was much more aggressive. Bought Subaru in the end because -- even though it was a bit more expensive -- we liked the car a little better and the sales experience much better. More

We settled on a purchase price before I even set foot in the dealership. After that, Jeff even called me to let me know about an Auto Show promotion that Subaru was running, which decreased my purchase price even more. My wife and I settled on a Forester that required a factory order, and placing the order was no issue with Jeff taking care of the details. When we picked up our new car, the final documentation, financing, and delivery process was quick and easy. Even the finance guy, Al, was a pleasure to work with - not your stereotypical mean finance man. Jeff went through the car with us to teach us all of the details and need-to-know things on the technology side and made us feel comfortable before we left. I would definitely recommend Jeff and the entire Grand Subaru dealership for anyone considering a new vehicle. I can't think of anything I would improve. More

Great focus on the customer experience Jeff was no pressure, pragmatic and answered everything we asked. The process was smooth and without surprises. I have purchased 8 cars in my life. This was the most comfortable and least conflict of any of those experiences. The dealership appears to keep the process streamlined and thoughtful at each point. Jeff took that further with details at each step being explained without being pressured. More

Follow-up e-mails and phone conversations were low-pressure and provided several options for my vehicle needs as well as all requested information. No questions went unanswered; if answer was initially unknown, Jeff would take a note and quickly get back to me with the proper information (usually same day, occasionally next day if needed to discuss with another dealer contact who was unavailable late in the day). Communication on day of actual purchase was very thorough to keep me apprised of status between sales and finance groups as paperwork was completed, signed, and all transactions were finalized. Communication and vehicle delivery checklist review on day of pick-up exceeded my expectations; Jeff went above and beyond to make sure the vehicle was in perfect condition and all my questions on vehicle features, accessories, etc. were answered promptly and to my satisfaction. All in all, this was an excellent vehicle purchase experience and I would recommended both Grand Subaru & Jeff Schade to anyone in the market for a new vehicle. More
