This just keeps getting better. The dealership had my certified pre-owned car for 5 weeks. I requested another car as I have no confidence in the one I was sold. I was told about their check list and how the cars are cleared. However they cleared a car that had obvious issues. The general sales manager said no. I’m went to pick up my car Saturday. The paperwork and keys could not be found. Oz in sales called “service” to find out where thy were. After spending about 30 minutes waiting I was told that they didn’t know i was coming. I had spoken with the “service” rep and told him I’m coming tomorrow and he said see you tomorrow and that was it. Oz asked me to bring the car back on Monday, I said that will not work. It’s about an hours drive to the dealership from my job. Oz said they could drop off my car and pick up the loaner, I said fine. Today was get a call from “service” threatening me with a daily usage fee if I don’t bring it back. In addition, he lied to me and said I told you the service hours, he didn’t. Literally this has been the worst car buying experience I have ever had. My brother went to car max bought a truck and discovered an issue. They took it back immediately and let him pick something else off the lot. In addition, they didn’t give him a hard time about his loaner. I sold my car to them and had a good experience, I will be shopping there next time. If the dealership could just have said, we made errors and are sorry how can we make this right, I would feel differently. But each department blames the other as if they are two different companies. They are not, and there is no reason not to have clear policies that are clear to everyone. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere and as I have been told by the employees at the dealership- you m just the messenger!

Latest: The “service” team called to let me know that the service manager said they are going to charge me a daily fee for the loaner, but they can pick up the loaner but won’t bring my car to me. This arrangement was suggested by a dealership manager, and they are reneging for the second time. Again, Folsom lake Hyundai shows they are providing unbeatable service- unfortunately it’s unbeatably bad.
