I purchased a used non-Toyota vehicle and when I went to pick up my vehicle only then did they realize that they had drained the battery while prepping the car and so I had to wait while they charged it and pick up my vehicle only then did they realize that they had drained the battery while prepping the car and so I had to wait while they charged it and make sure the battery held charge otherwise I would have had to wait while they replaced the battery. They did not have the front license plate attached as they did not have the right holder to attach it nor had they ordered one prior to me picking up the car so I have to wait for them to get it delivered. I found a dent/paint chip in the drivers side that was not there previously meaning that they did it while working on the car. If I hadn’t mentioned it, they would not have. Only then did they offer to have someone come out to me to fix it. Before I could even get the car home, the low engine oil light came on. I then had to drive the car back to the dealership the very next day (I live an hour away) so the service team could look at it because they had said that they changed the oil recently. They find that an oil leak that they said they had fixed, wasn’t completely fixed. So I had to leave the car that I had for barely 24hrs for the weekend so they could fix it correctly this time. They gave me a loaner car and since I picked up the car again I have not had an issue but the trust is lost. I had already given them a sizable down payment and financed even more so I would have expected the car to have been gone over thoroughly before I picked it up and it’s clear they barely did anything. It’s too bad because everyone I spoke with was very nice and the loaner car they gave me was a great drive and I could see myself purchasing one as my next vehicle. But it certainly won’t be from NYE. I’m still not convinced I won’t have issues with the car but fingers crossed. Not sure if they’re this careless with their Toyota vehicles but it’s pretty clear they don’t care much about non-Toyota vehicles. More

Check engine light came on for my Ram 1500 that I bought from another dealership. The dealership I bought it from told me that they wouldn't be able to service it for a month and a half. NYE got me in the from another dealership. The dealership I bought it from told me that they wouldn't be able to service it for a month and a half. NYE got me in the next week. So when it was time to buy a new car I went to the Toyota dealership. They were awesome. You should very much consider going there for your next vehicle. More

Although we got a fair deal in the end the salesman was frustrating. His communication style was annoying. It was hard to get him to stop the happy talk and listen. We filled out the purchase offer on line frustrating. His communication style was annoying. It was hard to get him to stop the happy talk and listen. We filled out the purchase offer on line but he did not seem to have read it. So we had to repeat our basic demographics. At one point in the negotiations he stood up and shook my hand and my wife’s hand and left us giving the impression he was saying good bye. We were about to leave when he came back with an offer that we accepted. We filled out the purchase paperwork and indicated we were paying cash. Next the staff member who put the final paperwork together came in and tried to convince us to take out a loan. Then he tried to sell us an extended warranty and weatherproofing. More frustration. When we came back to pick up the car we were not given the LoJack owners manual and information on the other dealer add on features. Also, as the sales man was trying to sync my phone to the car it became obvious that close to a dozen other people had synced their devices to this car. Another staff person came in to help sync the phone. That person indicated that they had been having trouble keeping the battery charged on this car. As we drove away I noticed on the car’s display that there was close to 400 miles on the vehicle already. Nobody told us about the mileage. We were beginning to feel like we bought a used car. A few days latter the battery was dead. It read 11.5 on my multimeter. It was towed back to Nye by Toyota Care’s representative. The service department found the battery had several faults and replaced it. One frustration after another! More
