ago *Update: I think the reason they lied is because they knew there were problems with the car. The mechanic I took it to said that the mileage of 50k on the car doesn’t seem possible based on all the they knew there were problems with the car. The dealership said they would spend $1500 on the car fixing it up to ensure it was in good shape before I came to pick it up. They padded that with tons of detailing and stain guard for the interior. My mechanic said the transmission fluid was so dirty that it probably did damage to the transmission. Now I’ve had the car a little over 6 months and I think the transmission is failing. Overpriced and dishonest. Charged almost triple Bluebook, lied about why the previous customer chose not to buy the vehicle (first guy told me it was because they couldn’t get financing, then after signing paperwork second guy said it was because of space), promised car would be delivered and any money outside of the $1,5000 contingency allotted for repairs would be paid out. None of which happened. Stay away! More

It was a bumpy road, but thanks to GM Mr. Waterbury, they "made it right." Thanks also to Jeff and Cam who worked closely on this to make it happen. August 13, 2021 - To be continued...Returning Rav4 purchased 7/7. There were issues with the repairs. Waiting for replacement vehicle TODAY is Thursday - July 22, 2021 BACK UP TO A 5-STAR RATING! Finally reached the General Manager, KC Waterbury, on Monday, July 19, and everything began to take a turn for the better. My 2021 Rav4 XSE Hybrid was sent to Higgins Body & Paint shop - who did a great job. No signs of razor cuts; no damage or marks on the paint. It looks brand new like the day it was first delivered to me. I received a detailed statement of work and warranty. Sales Manager Cam was the Quality Control POC on the finished work. Service Manager Jaden coordinated with Higgins and then arranged for drivers Milo and Jordan to safely deliver the Rav4 to my residence. A rough start but good team work "made it right." He answered my questions and personally verified the vehicle's condition for me - which included letting me know about the scrape on the rear bumper. Jeff was accommodating and kept in constant contact throughout the entire transaction. Jeff's customer service was genuine and greatly added to the whole experience. Toyota Bountiful was easy to work with and provided a reasonable cost to transfer/ship the vehicle from Utah to Arizona - WAY more reasonable than other national auto dealerships. The pictures on the Bountiful Toyota website were accurate instead of "stock" photos that were seen on other dealer's websites. Scott from Deliver It, Inc. kept us informed on his status and let us know when he was an hour out. Scott was friendly and cordial.
