We'd like to provide some additional context for anyone reading this. The vehicle was purchased in October 2025 with 112,000 miles, and it currently has 120,000 miles, reflecting normal use since the sale. Rodent damage of this nature is unfortunately not something that warranties typically cover, as it results from external factors that occur after a vehicle leaves our lot rather than from a mechanical defect present at the time of sale. It's also worth noting that had this been a pre-existing issue, the vehicle would not have passed state inspection and the check engine light would have been illuminated at the time of purchase, neither of which was the case. We did our best to explain this distinction during our conversation with the customer. We stand behind the inspections we perform prior to sale, and we always encourage every buyer, including this customer, to have a vehicle independently inspected if they have any concerns, which is a good practice with any used vehicle purchase regardless of where it's bought. We're sorry to hear about the inconvenience and unexpected cost this caused, and we'd welcome the opportunity to speak further if there's anything more we can clarify or assist with.
