My older car was not repairable so I had to start car shopping Dec 6. We visited two Lexus dealers and the experience was awful. The entire morning was wasted with very poor service. It's our old MDX shopping Dec 6. We visited two Lexus dealers and the experience was awful. The entire morning was wasted with very poor service. It's our old MDX that needed replacement so, even frustrated, we decided to go to McGrath. Gabe came out to the parking lot to greet us and we spent the next 5 hours with him! He asked us about our needs and began to show us cars that fit our inquiries. I'm older and Gabe took time to talk about my concerns and about the merits of each car he showed us. I was very impressed with his style and use of joining language rather than selling language. He showed us five cars in all with the last one being the "dream car". Gabe had a strong command of the inventory and of each vehicle we looked at and drove. It was his kindness and knowledge that kept my interest after a poor morning from other dealers. I would recommend Gabe to anyone, any age, any interest. His knowledge, diligence, his relation skills made it a pleasure to be at McGrath Acura. More

While the salesperson was kind, the manager and the finance person were quite deceitful. I was very clear that I lived in Cook county and they tried to change the price based on Kane county taxes more finance person were quite deceitful. I was very clear that I lived in Cook county and they tried to change the price based on Kane county taxes more than once and hope that I would not notice and then be liable for the change so that they could keep the profit. They wouldn’t even fill the tank with gas. I was ignored when I asked for proper paperwork and documentation to be provided and then they tried to give a sneaky upsell of their friends extended warranty. After driving off the lot I found that the paperwork printed was still wrong. Very shady and would not recommend as they are your stereotypical used car salesman. More
