I love my vehicle, but I am very disappointed with my experience purchasing a certified pre-owned vehicle from this dealership. Since the purchase, communication has been consistently poor and my conce experience purchasing a certified pre-owned vehicle from this dealership. Since the purchase, communication has been consistently poor and my concerns have not been properly addressed. I emailed Ray, the sales representative, three separate times regarding my CPO concerns, and I also copied Finance Manager Evelyn on two of those emails, but received no meaningful resolution or follow-up. I also contacted Volkswagen directly. They stated the vehicle VIN was not showing in their system and advised me to wait another week, then contact the dealership to confirm whether the CPO paperwork had been properly filed. On the day I picked up the car, I specifically asked Ray about the CPO paperwork, and he stated it would be filed. Despite that, I am still left without clear confirmation that the paperwork was ever properly completed. Overall, the lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through has been frustrating. I am sharing this so other buyers are aware of the post-sale experience. More

I recently purchased a 2025 Volkswagen ID. 4 from City Volkswagen and Laura was my sales contact. I live in Michigan and consequently much of this car buying experience was done remotely. Laura was very responsive and accommodating of my requests for pictures and a video walk-around of the vehicle. Between phone calls, texts, and emails, the communication was excellent and timely. By the end of the day, we had decided we wanted to purchase the vehicle and I worked out the terms with Laura and Matt, the General Manager. It was Saturday afternoon and I lived three hours away. Matt agreed to hold the vehicle until 6:00 PM Monday, the soonest I could get there. On Monday, Laura began the paperwork and sent me more pictures of the car, inside after it had been detailed. She even sent a pic of a "Sold" sign on the windshield with our name on it. I arrived Monday evening and met Laura, who was equally as great in person. I looked over the vehicle and it was in great condition, as described. The one scratch which she told me about and sent pictures of was present and less significant that she had described. We took a quick ride around the block and then came back to the dealership where she walked me through use of the vehicle technology. While doing this, the finance person prepared my paperwork. I interacted with George Skoubis during this time as well and he was helpful learning about our first EV. Overall, this was the best car-buying experience I've had. I was treated fairly and with respect and was comfortable trusting Laura and Matt. It was a personable experience that left me feeling good about where we bought the car! More
