I have revised my review based upon the dealship being responsive and getting back to me immediatelhy to address thw problem with the emergency/parkiing brake. They reviewed their records and admitted had not tested or verified the brake operated correctly.function correctly. I appreciate that they volunarily said they would correct the probem and schedule a srivce appoint to take any actions needed to fix the problem. This type of service is becoming a rare commodity when there was no requirement for them to do so.

Since I last posted a response 5/29 several things have changed. I delivered the truck to the service department this morning as scheduled. Initially, the service coordinator wanted to charge me over $200 for an inspection. I explained the circumstances and the charge was removed. Late in the afternoon I called for a status of the repair and was told the service department was waiting to the sales department to authorize the purchase of a part. I spoke with the sales manager who stated sales did not authorize the purchase of parts or repairs. The manager reviewed my file and said he was willing to authorize a reduction of the cost of the part plus to labor to their cost. The cost of the repair went from more than $790 to more than $440. Bottom line, they didn't plan to take care of the problem, just create more cash flow. A bit of bate and switch. I'll not return again nor will I recommend Mcloughliin Chevrolet to anyone. I retracked response made 6/2.
