Brian Frye service advisor went above and beyond to get Carvana/Silver Rock to cover a couple of driver door and hood lock problems with a newly purchased truck. He also effectively managed the state inspection and trailer software recall the truck needed, and got a spare key made, All while I was mostly out of town. However I do wonder about the maintenance of some service equipment at this dealership...the truck initially failed emissions due apparently to a problem with the test equipment, the first time I've encountered that situation in decades of having vehicles inspected. Also the cutting of the key had to be farmed out because the dealership key machine was apparently not working. I also wonder about parts order status reliability at this dealership...I ordered the spare key at the parts counter when I dropped the truck off, and when Brian checked on the key after several days they told him it was back ordered and availability was indeterminate. Then the key arrived next day. Makes it hard for service advisers and vehicle owners to plan. Finally, the dealership web site has the wrong hours for the service department. I got pretty upset interacting with Mia the automated phone system, on a day when I expected to get the truck back but hadn't heard anything by what I thought was nearly close of business, and I was leaving town next day. Mia kept saying the service department was closed (which it turns out was correct), but the web site was telling me it was open. Worse Mia could/would not connect me with a live person. I ended up driving to the dealership to see what was going on with my truck. Of course service was closed by then so no joy. More
