Late in the evening of March 24 I saw a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X Recon online. I had some questions and sent them an email. I explained that we were a 2 hour drive away, He couldn’t answer everything and said he would find someone who could. Shortly afterwards Wade told me that Desmond Duke would be contacting me. For the rest of the day Desmond got me answers, sent me pictures, videos everything I asked and when he didn’t know he would tell me he didn’t but said he would find someone that did. We decided to make the drive Thursday. Many times you see pictures online or the sales person tells you something and when you go everything is totally different. Let me say THIS WAS NOT one of those times. When we arrived I was stunned how busy this place was. Most dealers we’ve been to lately have 0 customers and don’t seem to care. I texted Desmond we were here and we had already seen the Jeep parked out front. We got out of our car and Desmond was right there with the keys. The Jeep was even better than we expected. Everything was exactly what he said. Throughout the negotiation process they knew I was a cash buyer on a very high end Jeep and didn’t try to sell me other crap or financing. Yes they tried to get every penny they could, their job is to make money for the dealer, and my job was to keep every penny I could. Thats the process. If you work thru it long enough you will get to a fair deal for both. That’s what we did. Desmond and Al did their jobs, there were some tense moments and a lot of funny ones as well. In the end we got a good deal and made new friends. I would not hesitate to drive 2 hours again to buy a vehicle here. Ask for Desmond he’s an outstanding young man that will do everything he can for you. More
