I'll be honest--when I knew it was time to buy a new car, the prospect of visiting dealerships did not excite me at all because my husband had such a I'll be honest--when I knew it was time to buy a new car, the prospect of visiting dealerships did not excite me at all because my husband had such a bad experience back in 2010 with our local Chevy dealership. But I knew that the Toyota Rav4 was the car I really wanted, so I took a chance and visited this dealership. From beginning to end, I was exceptionally impressed with the positive atmosphere of the dealership, the knowledge and friendliness of the staff, and their willingness to do whatever needed to be done to stay within my budget while still getting me in the car I wanted. They made it happen! The sales rep I worked with, Jennifer Smith, was so friendly and walked me through every step of the process which was helpful since this was my first time buying new. She was always available and responded quickly to emails and messages and thoroughly answered any questions I had (she even responded to texts on her day off!!). Everyone was friendly, saying hello and offering me refreshments. And at the end of the process when I was working with Dennis on the financial end of things, he explained everything very well to me. One thing that I definitely liked from the experience as a whole, was that I felt like the entire time, their number one interest was helping me get the car I wanted. I never felt pressured or uncomfortable or anxious or any of those other negative things that you normally think of when dealing with buying a car. They have made a lifetime customer out of me! More

We had a good experience shopping for an SUV We made an appointment to drive a new Rav4 as we were considering buying a new SUV. As the salesman got to know us he asked us to consider a used Lexu We made an appointment to drive a new Rav4 as we were considering buying a new SUV. As the salesman got to know us he asked us to consider a used Lexus RX they had on the lot. It turned out we drove that one instead and made the decision to buy it as it was priced right and was quite a step up in luxury. Jim was very helpful in knowing what we may like and helped us in a non pushy manner. I look forward to having it serviced at Sun Shine Toyota and we expect to work with Jim on our next vehicle. We travel over 50 miles (one way) to Sunshine Toyota due to our exceptional previous experiences with sales and service. The local dealership can't touch the level of customer care that Sunshine provides. For this purchase, we made this trip four times. We knew what we wanted when we walked in, so that part was not a problem. The vehicle with the specs we had our hearts set on wasn't on the lot...that's when things became difficult and time-consuming. Our salesman was a bit overwhelmed at the times that we were there, so that added to our unease. Information shared with us changed multiple times - some of this, we felt, was due to our own research contradicting the salesman's statements.. The haggling was expected, but took too long. In the end we were satisfied with the terms. During the multiple visits and HOURS going through the process, we became frustrated and disheartened several times, BUT the Sunshine Toyota staff (especially Steve Schultz and Dennis Walters) made sure we were happy with our new vehicle.. She, as well as Dennis Walters continued to do some hard negotiating to arrange my financing, through a marathon session. Sunshine was also totally transparent on its car pricing. Every car on the lot was well and clearly marked with the make, year, and price. It's website was complete and thorough in its inventory listing. None of the "call for a price" stuff. Everyone was very helpful from the quick response to my first email inquiring about the car and since I live an hour and 40 minutes away they went out of their way to pull the car up and make sure it was a non-smoker vehicle before I made the trip. After my test drive I made arrangements to pick up the car two days later and when an opportunity came up to pick it up the next morning instead they made arrangements to make that happen. When I picked up the car, they had been unable to locate the second key but said they would have someone drive out to my house and pick up the car and bring it in to have the key made even though we live quite a distance. After discovering a stone chip on the my drive home, they offered to fix that as well at the same time they made they key. I couldn't be happier with my experience and would recommend them to anyone. More
