The sales team was helpful and straightforward during the negotiation process—I appreciated the fair trade-in value for my 2011 Dodge Dakota and the strong manufacturer's rebate that brought the effective price of my 2024 Dodge Hornet R/T down to a reasonable level. The vehicle itself is exciting, and I'm glad I went with it despite some reliability concerns I've read about online. However, the finance and closing portion felt overly pushy. I ended up adding the Mopar Vehicle Protection Plan, Service Plan, and Glass Coat Protection (they said this had already been placed on the vehicle) because of worries about potential issues with the Hornet's hybrid system, but in hindsight, these felt marked up and not fully explained. I wish there had been less pressure and more transparency about cheaper alternatives or the ability to shop around. This inflated my financed amount unnecessarily. I'd recommend the dealership to others for the sales side but suggest improving the F&I process to make it less high-pressure. Better communication post-purchase would also help. More
